If there wasn't a danger of falling into some apocalyptic scenario I'd probably stick with gold, it's value is usually pretty steady (its only the last 10-12 years it went berserk, for whatever reason), and it has a much better chance of bouncing back then most things do.
Otherwise, food and ammo and rule like a king.

The fallacy of the story lies in the "if they have never had any trouble, they never will", that line of thinking sank the titanic -_- would say the same about the dinosaurs, but they did not think (at least at the level to understand they were totally screwed).

wut euro may be as good as the Confederate $ next year if they don't get their act together. methinks the only way EU-ians will salvage EU is to become more like United States... complete with US-style FED reserve (which they don't have) and Brussels as their own Washington DC. |
