Decent show overall with a fun finale to go with it. It felt refreshing to watch this show and hopefully the next season will improve even more. I can't wait to see the new characters to be introduced tbh.

I loved every episode this enjoyably silly series. I've read comments on other sites about fans' frustrations with the apparent lack of romance, but I would beg to differ. There clearly is romance, just that it's very understated. And somehow, that makes it even more romantic, in my opinion, as demonstrated in this final episode.
Mamiya Sakura was overjoyed to finally be able to stop seeing ghosts, but she would rather give that up than to stop seeing Rokudou. How can that not be romantic? ![]() Good to know that we won't have to wait too long before the next season comes around. |

That A-1 Grand Prix was funny.
Sakura was totally oblivious to Rinne. The candy seems to be working. Still, it was poor timing eating it now. She sure was enjoying her normal time. Rinne was getting extremely exhausted saving her ass. Well, at least he got some food from Sakura.. Didn't feel like a final episode, more like a normal one.

Good episode to finish off this season 1 on.
Thought it sweet that Sakura actually doesn't really care about seeing spirits, and was happy there for a bit just being normal, but cared that she couldn't see Rokudou in spirit form enough to stop the candies.

Seeing the Panda at the beginning of one episode, made me wonder if maybe all of her works are part of a shared universe. I think it would be cool.
I've started watching the Hunter X Hunter remake, I'm convinced she helped design some of the characters for that series.

Kyoukai no Rinne. See You Next Season
I'm properly delivering my last thoughts for Kyoukai no Rinne season one.
What can I say? Rinne's a return to Takahashi-sensei roots at creating a light comedy with characters involved in all sorts of mishaps and misunderstandings, yet still making use of supernatural element devices. To be honest, the Grandma, Tamako, overall, is the best character of the show. Every time she's onscreen she literally steals the spotlight, and those noogies got to hurt a lot. ![]() Rokudo Rinne is the most considerate out of Takahashi's male protagonists from his previous manga, though having that conman of a father like Sabato is it understandable. In spite of its repetitiveness, Rinne manages at keeping me entertained or looking forward to the next episode. Hope, us, the audience, get to witness even crazier antics with Rinne and company, Kaim, and Sabato for the next season due on Spring 2016. Until then, that's all folks. |

It's great to have the crew back. And it looks like the rest of the manga cast will finally make their appearance this season.
By the way, shouldn't this thread be moved back to the current series subforum? ![]() |
