Oh my gosh! It's all coming full-circle as our heroes head back to Hawaii for the final battle! And they're all feeling the Super Robot spirit .
Of course the night before the final battle, you have to Chill Out! Which gives Isami a chance to open his heart up to Bravern, and vice-versa, and even if he doesn't realize he's talking to Lewis, Isami has grown to value Bravern's companionship and appreciate their partnership...and then hey yell out each others' names, the homoerotic music kicks in, Bravern confesses his love, and tries to kiss Isami. Well, Lulu ships it ! Oh, and here's Lulu in a bikini cooking and everyone working to teach Superia the wonders of Umami and lobster as he as a cosmic revelation over the deliciousness of food. Meanwhile Bravern can't eat (it just sells the moment) . Look at Bravern and Isami running on the beach romantically together! Or Superbia putting a blanket on a sleeping Lulu ! It's the team vs Signities, the most powerful and mysterious of the Deathdrives! And is that Katsuyuki Konishi I hear ? Except it's all in their head, Signities is actually not that powerful, they just think he his and overreact to literally everything he does. Dudes' only move is rearranging his limbs! Superbia beats him in one dramatic attack! I'm almost disappointed Bravern didn't gattai when Isami sold the moment so well ! But I guess to make up for that, it's time for Bravern vs Superbia! The two pairs putting their all into this fateful and climactic showdown between eternal rivals with their entire power thrown against each other! Even Signities is happy to watch even as a head floating in lava that's eventually consumed by in the aftermath ! And as Bravern and Superbia solidify their friendship, their rivalry that will drive them to continue going sronger, and start to shed some tears...Ira shows up and immediately takes Bravern out. Yikes. And is that Kenjiro Tsuda !? Poor Isami. First he lost Lewis, now he's losing Lewis as Bravern, as he shuts down again with his last words being the same as Lewis' to Isami. Bravern was like all he had left ,

LMAO that reminds me Gravion ended with Toga asked Eiji to marry him.
This time Obari really said, don't hold back, just do it, complete with canon explanation that Bravern is result of Smith and Cunus union. Those Deathdrives, I started to wonder if Bravern is Obari's plan to have a 'Brave', Atsuko Tanaka and Kenjiro Tsuda for upcoming Super Robot Wars. So far the setup is really good its easy to mesh Bravern with any tangled plots SRW come up with. I really look forward to see Isami, Bravern, Cunus and Ira in SRW. For his fans, if he have any...

7th webradio episode with Obari:
* Both hosts call Obari their "secret guest". * Praises were given to Obari for Bravern's design. I'd agree too. * Obari and the others briefly talked about Wonder Fes, which is held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. Basically model kit heaven for you MK geeks out there. * Obari was asked when he got involved in the anime biz. He first got an anime-related job in 85. He mentioned that he got involved in mecha anime from Bubblegum Crisis. * Obari was being pressed on details on the show, especially on Superbia and Lulu. On Superbia, there was a brief discussion on the former turning into an ally. * Lewis was made to be macho, according to Obari when asked about him. They also discuss his rank and his superior, Satake (technically). * I like that Obari discusses the differences between the TS and Bravern, contrasting the Real and Super Robot aspects of the show. * There's a recording of Suzumura saying "Fight Bandai, Isami!". * The trio now talking about a bunch of toku stuff from Daitarn, Ultraman and Godzilla in terms of height.

Yeah, Bravern design is probably the best of Obari.
Classic, to tell Smith taste of heroes, with enough modernizing touch to make it resemble Deathdrives. Quote:
Obari is quick...

The situation is kind of weird when I looked again.
Lulu's timeline: - No Superbia help because Lulu recruited him after Bravern and Isami death. - Hawaii reduced to field of ash, probably because of Popalchipum. - No sight of Ira despite this episode implied Bravern died on her timeline by same surprise attack. - Armies mostly died as well but mankind survive, allowing Lulu to time travel. Isn't that like ... armies are able to defeat Popalchium and Ira, at cost of their lives.

It seems obvious to me that Lewis Smith's time travel forms a loop, whereas Lulu's does not.
Why are these two things different? Idk, I don't even think the story cares. All I know is Bravern was Smith all along, and he was always going to die there and go back to become Bravern. |

Bravern have ability and chance to prevent Smith death.
Notice that Bravern revealed Burn Dragon only after Smith death, troopers commented about why it took so long for power-up. Isami complaint why Bravern not acting like usual during the fight; by Burn Bravern reveal, we learned Bravern purposefully stall to ensure Smith died exactly same way as him knowing Cunus obsession. Unlike Smith who know flow of events up to certain point and solid enough to make difference (Bravern); Lulu didn't know much past Isami and Bravern going to die there. In her timeline, she's not going to Hawaii with Superbia. Let's say she succeed, doesn't that mean timeline where Isami and Bravern saved requires her to loop, just like how Isami saved requires Bravern loop? That's why previously there's talk whether its paradox or not. I propose it doesn't have to be paradox, but going with that idea means Lulu also have to loop just like Smith by ending to secure future where everyone alive since her knowledge is required.

OTOH, that isn't true of Lulu. Time-traveler Lulu erased non-time traveler Lulu years before she reached a time machine, so a loop is impossible. A loop needs the non-time traveler to live long enough to get to the time travel moment and become the time traveler. |
