It is good that a lot of elements from the first season are being brought back, but I don't want the season to be praised solely for that. Letting it be known for the things it did unique to itself is important, too. Like the Minami-ke Quest segments it's been using over the course of the series. Enjoyable episode, though. The background gag where Maki and Atsuko were derailing Hosaka's train of thought while replacing his plate with a teakettle was my favorite part of the episode, but it was a good showing all around. Kana's naked apron cooking suggestion makes her both a genius and a pervert.

Oh the plate skit was excellent. It's Hosaka + the two girls that really make it. I was going "DON'T BE TRICKED HOSAKA!".
Hayami really annoys me for getting in the way of Hosaka and Haruka. On the other hand, Hosaka must fail for this to work. Hitomi is really growing on me. Her ability to read Natsuki's eyes has me rolling. |

Oh, they replaced Hosaka's badass guitar riff.
Why am I not angry? Oh, right, this episode was hilarious. What can I say about Hosaka? You know him, you love him, you wish Maki would stop being so tsundere for him already. They even brought back the "volleyball, yaranaika?" part, though Hosaka seems to have forgoten it inmediatly afterwards, but that's just how he works. Didn't expect the return of Teruterubouzu Chiaki, though Guess the folks at feel decided the first season was the best after all. Can't say I blame them, and it definetly fits the Tadaima title. After a good dose of Hosaka and highschool antics, its time to revisit Kana's homeground. Hopefully Fujioka's jealousy delivers. |

Teruterubouzo Chiaki!! YES!!!!
This series is really shaping up to be what the second series SHOULD have been, I think, in that it's closer to the feel of the first series than the second or third were. But as Midonin says above, some of the new bits are good too, not just the Minami-ke Quest bits, but I also love the SD segments too. Who'd have thought a fourth season would be this good? |

Fujioka has a tough battle getting thought Kana's density. He is fortunate to have alternate paths to the Minami via Chiaki and Touma.
Hosaka lacks the alternate entry path, though I image he'd manage one via Chiaki if he had a clue (Chiaki's Curry Fairy). Though he's not up against Haruka being dense, he's up against his own imagination and a master troll. The 70's era music is still funny with Fujioka is trying to be the tough guy image banchou. (only Haruka is the proper Banchou)

Fujioka has flickers of Hosaka but he has a good wing man now who backs him up. (in fear)
I have a feeling that look Fujioka gave when Kana touched his hand is gonna be the newest meme. That along with the double face palm. It's so good! lol On a side note, Hosaka doesn't even have a support group like Fujioka. All he has is nothing but blockers on his side. Hayami, Maki, and his own illusions are stopping him from getting his sweat wiped off by Haruka.
