I didn't enjoy this week's episode as much as last week's. The head headless chicken's declarations went on too long for my tastes, especially when focusing the subtitle glasses started messing up the subtitles. A clever idea, but one that started to give me a headache. The episode did have some fun points such as the assistant's story and especially the ending joke with the sentient hair. (I hope we see so more hair raising antics in the future. ) Unfortunately though, the chicken segment beat-up all the good points making the episode less fun than last week's. A temporary hiccup, I'm sure.

Okay, ep2
Kishi really did a good job in adapting the novel material to anime Ave Maria, John Woo' style of slow-mo, chicken run, all a good touch of the anime there are two highlights in this ep 1st, of course the "chicken"(adj.) chicken want to dominate the world but turn into panic from exposure the subs, the gunshot flashlight, slow-mo, all are so brilliant 2nd, assistant's storybook actually, he has drawn a lot storybook which is a part of his reintegration program I would like to see other of his storybooks being animated and some explanations “The Fairies reproduce naturally when they’re having fun” is an awkward translation it is somehow a literal translation than liberal translation The real meaning should be "The Fairies will gather naturally when they're having fun" It is the habit of the fairies. When there is fun, they will gather. When there is no fun, they will disperse. Why does "Watashi" give a coin to the fairy as a reward? Do they need money? the fairies, despite of their advanced technology, can't produce sweet or chocolate they love it so much and work for it that is a chocolate coin for their hard work I am pleased that so many people really give a try in the series and there are more interesting stories yet to come in the following ep I hope you will enjoy them edit: okay, fixed Last edited by kemal_1915; 2012-07-09 at 10:13. |

First Chinatsu's hair in episode 1 of yuri yuri, now here we have an example of self-animated hair I wonder if this hair will have other qualities beyong herculean strength. Can it use her host eyes, does it see on its own or does it relies only on tactile information (much like an octopus tentacles)? Is there a mouth under all that hair? Will it cut into tiny pieces the first person to say she looked better when her hair was short?

Episode 2 was even crazier, but with more pointed social commentary about politicians moonlighting for groups with vested interests, and...
Spoiler for What?:
It's rightfully weird and surreal, but not in a gory or mind-raping way as with previous productions in the past.

This anime is pretty absurd in infinite levels that I can't stop laughing. I think that I was already prepared when I see that bloody bread last episode and running chicken but 2nd episode broke the dam again. Chicken invasion and assistant shooting the chicken match up with good bgm. Like the added English words too in the middle of the scene. Crazy smiles and unexpected turns and twist that I don't even think I can understand the story even if I tried to predict what will comes next. The last part with the hair having its own will is also precious plus the event after the ED song. The rain of chicken.

Yeah, can't overstate the importance of that BGM as Assistant-kun was chasing the chickens around the factory and all that carnage was happening. As a whole it was one of the most insanely brilliant sequences I've ever seen in anime.
