Well again i find myself watching DBZ Super but not being pleased with it. I mean yea its Dragon Ball Z but Slice of life doesnt work at all IMO.

The one moment in episode 3 that got me hyped was when we were shown the brief recap of SSJ Goku battling Frieza while Beerus and Whis were conversing about it. The music they played during that segment made me very excited for this soundtrack and for the tone of battles to come.

Dragon Ball Super feels more like the original DB than DBZ. Toriyama's humour is always fun to watch and it's nice to see his characters again. I missed that so much! Beerus and his partner are a nice addition to the DB family.

I really hope the animation in the action scenes will not disappoint. Hated how it turned out in the first movie (still have not seen the second one tho). But then again, i do not trust Toei these days... my expectations are not high :/

Wonder if we will have movie-level animation and fights for this arc.

So far, everything looks like an expansion of the BoG arc. Should be fun to watch.

What happened to Mai?? She became so... chibi..lol. Her previous design was way better!
Let's hope for a good fight in the next episode. It probably will not have one single drop of blood and will lack that "savage" style of the original anime but with a nice animation it can do the trick.

Seeing Pilaf again made me feel a bit nostalgic. The buildup this week was meh but next week should be more exciting with action based on the PV. I'm so ready to see some SSY3 action

I just hope Goku can obtain Shiba Tetsuya's ''Auto repair'' ability ! Then he will be unstoppable.
Just imagine , ''Auto-repair'' will repair any damage Goku body has taken while his Zenkai ability make him stronger whenever his body suffer a big damage.
Perfect for Goku's final & last transformation.

I think that was at the end of DBZ manga after they defeated Buu

part of the DBZ Kai, so... I guess they did skip it... or they moved it to a future episode? no idea...

Edit: nvm... it was in the "Battle of Gods".

In which the event of that hasn't happen yet in DBZ Super

It happened in-between the two series off-screen. But yeah, Super didn't include the explanation in this episode. Maybe they will later though.
