I haven't really seen dubs much on funimation since I got it last year but do they use the home video version or the simulcast version for more recent shows such as fairy tail and Tokyo Ravens on the site? I know broadcast dubs obviously must use the simulcast version but I'm wondering non broadcast dubs?

Today, I've been treated to an early serving of more dubbed episodes. And what joy, it's the cleaned up version from the DVDs. Granted some scenes are still kind of a mess, but now there's less of it.

So word has it that Funimation isn't just going to be doing a broadcast dub for FT Zero this February; they're going to do it for the rest of the anime from that point on. This means dub-only viewers will be left with a big Tartaros-less gap for a while.

It's finally been confirmed: according to Funimation's broadcast dub schedule, the broadcast dub of Fairy Tail should be starting tonight at 9pm EST.
