the webtoon character designs look a lot different than how i imagined the characters to look.

Those pictures left a deep impression on me. My perspective about Hyun/Weed has shifted a bit, as before I only thought that Hyun was angry about the loss of money itself, but the webtoon gave me the impression that he actually took it personally, but maybe that is just because it has been quite a while since I read the early LMS volumes.

For some reason I find similarities between Weed and a certain character from a particular VN now...

He did take it personally in the LN, that scene is exactly the same as it was in the LN excerpt for the part where his sister enters the room.

In the novel the thug doesn't actually threaten her face to face.

But back on point, this is exactly how I imagined Hyuns personality, however I didn't expect him to look like that. He seems to hmm I think the word is called "bishounen". I expected him to be average looking like how the novel describes him.

Also I expected Seoyoon to be more beautiful.

Wouldn't call him a pretty boy at all in the Webtoon as his design does seem average for me, not at all like a girly looking Kpop idol/artist or something (seriously, google image search those, they look fabulous).

The female in your post is definitely beautiful but I was expecting more of a cold beauty type character.

I was expecting a more plain character to play Hyun, the character here has a Justin Bieber look. I think the illustrator has Bieber fever.

There are a few females interested in weed. But he nly mind money..
Romantic way begin maybe 20+ vol. So in webton i dont think we will see

IMO queen from girls of the wilds is closer to seoyoon. And that what imagine her to be.

I don't understand why people have problems with the design. Actually it's the perfect look of a manipulative person, reminding me of Light and Maou. And Seo yoon looks OK. I like the art much more already than the gamer, the god of highschool or tower of god.

i think his look is still in the limits the LN describes i mean we still have yet to see how will they draw a pretty boy so his look may turn out to be average.
i like how they are mostly keeping it the same as the LN plot lets hope it stay that way.
can't wait to see his face when he get his class from the dungeon XD .
