Why didn't Judom do anything about the problem beforehand instead of retiring, though it's can't be help as King > Guildmaster.
I really hope he agrees to train the Heroes just to make sure they survive.
Anyone has info on what's the King is like? Trash King level of prejudice?

Chapter 17 opened a lot of questions about the trustworthiness of the Human King. So he's kept it secret that the Evila King that was advocating war was deposed and that the new King sent a peace treaty, that definitely makes me a little worried about his motives.

Which problem? The king?

But seriously, I believe he retired as an adventurer to become the Guildmaster. When he was an adventurer he couldn't do much because he had no authority, so he retired to try to do something about it by becoming the Guildmaster.

He did advise the king there were other things they could try before trying the summoning, but unless its an emergency the Guildmaster doesn't have the same authority as the king so he could not stop him.

Just checked out chapter 17 as well.

Holy crap! Someone of power that is mature, reasonable & is morally sound of mind & principles? That was somewhat refreshing coming from the last few chapters...

I agree with Judom. Sacrificing her daughter so they would have a fighting force for the Evila is just pointless if they are sending peace treaty, and isn't there other way to resolve things or he has a personal grudge from the previous king.

It seems like Taishi is oblivious to the feelings of the girls around him, since he doesn't seem to know why he is a "harem creator"

Whatever system is in place to assign titles must have a sense of humour.
