Yun Zhi/Yun Yun refused to fight him and was thus put in confinement by her masterYun Shan. He planned to have her wed Pill King but Xiao Yan and his group crashed the wedding.
She later disbanded Cloud Sect - either she did that or Xiao Yan kill them all - and went travlling the main continent with her apprentice (the ex-fiancee). She honestly doesn't hold a grudge against Xiao Yan for that and left to forget all the painful memories.
They did kiss before she left though. FIance was really jealous.
At the end, he did sent her an invitation to come back with him but there's no confirmation about her answer.

Yun Shan got a case of 'Outlived his usefulness' by his benefactor and later his soul get eaten.

Finally done. Pretty addictive, this kind of light style where you know the good guy's always gonna be in time to save his friends suits me. :P

Random thoughts:

-Not character driven. Even the main supporting cast feels like golem bodyguards 90% of the time.
-Writing gets better towards the end when he stopped with the repetitive narration.
-Pretty cheap. :P Like the author's always letting the MC get a cheap deal, or collect like 5x ingredients and he only ends up using one or two.
-Task management was pretty frustrating in the middle, stuff like omg I only get 2 years to find a solution before I die, so hey let's wander 5 months hiking in the mountain and 2 months meditating in lava cave. Reminds me too much of myself. :P
-Scaling NPCs effect is pretty bad towards the end.

-Need more Zi Yan. Actually Zi Yan should have been the MC or something.
-Need more Yun Yun. Actually the only girl whose romance sub-plot I found engaging. Didn't like how she turned in a damsel in distress at the end.
-Medusa's development's actually the worst if you ask me, just what......
-For the small amount of screentime she got Cao Ying would have made the best romantic interest possibly.

-tianfu alliance remains as dominant force in central plains; new forces/sects spring up from the destruction
-xiao clan thriving again now that they have emperor blood activated
-xiao yan and his ladies xun er and cai lin(medusa) retire from the scene, live in wutian city with their kids xiaoxiao and xiao lin
-he invites yafei, xiao yi xian, yun yun to live with him in wutian city, no mention of qingling
-after xiaoyan released source qi, now there are 5 dou di: xiaoyan, xun er, cai lin, gu yuan (xun er's father, ancient clan patriarch), zhu kun (zi yan's father, ancient void dragon emperor)
-after finding a void that leads to other planes, the five of them enter and leave dou continent

basically, we have Mu Chen, a young and cool youth. Due to a certain incident, he got chased out of the young pilot empower program, making him waste 1 year, during that time, he come across and contracted a a fire bird, which is actually a beautiful girl. So for the sake of his love in the Youth empower program, he worked hard from zero. However, god didn't abandoned him, he acquired a black Paper, which, in reality. is a blueprints to a portion of a legendary Mecha. Afterwards, he entered one of the 5 famous pilot academy, go and win the tournament and settled his deal with his rival back in the day of young pilot program( he haven't got his mech at this point). Afterward, his beloved grandfather, which is actually a bigshot, declared he aren't worthy and take her away from him, he promised to her on the day of their parting to be the greatest pilot ever. Then, he graduated and gone to bird girl organization in seek of information about the legendary mecha, in which he success in summoned the part of the legendary mecha, here, he happened to acquaintences and fought with one member of the board of gorvernances , then he met the loli who is actually his boss and the director of said organiztion, under her order, he gone through various trials while declared that one day he will collected all part become the pilot of the mecha. So far, the story is still at this arc

What's DDZ (I've read the summary, what's the actual title) and where can I read it, preferably in English, (a PM would be greatly appreciated)

Someone mentioned that the author wrote another story that is basically the same, only much darker, but are there any other differences?

Anyone know about the distance of chapters between manhua and novel/pacing?

For example in Coiling Dragon and Douluo Dalu

In CD's novel, Linley graduated from Ernst Institute at chapter 101-102 while in the manhua it's chapter 55.
In the novel he encountered Black Python at chapter 155 while it's around 95-96 in the manhua.

For DD, the distance between the manhua and the novel isn't that far apart, around 3-5 chapters.
In the novel they meet Dai Mubai at chapter 14 while it's chapter 10 in the manhua.
Duel with Zhao Wuji 18-19 (novel), 14-15 (manhua).
Getting the 4th spirit rings also somewhere around 30s chapter in both medium.

How about BTTH then? How far apart is it?
