No more details right now for her case, but from vol.8 prereleased summary a change will happen to Iris who wish for more power during the fight.

For Tear, Her case is really different from Iris that's for sure.

yea. in the anime, it just looks like Miyako was in a trance and WILLINGLY became a dragon, whereas here, she didn't know and rushed head on to defend her friends, but became a dragon upon contact.

lets face it i could see the trauma from the anime version (see it but i thought it was stupid) but this one was something else.

Agreed, in the LN, I felt a WHOLE lot more sorry for Mitsuki than what happened in the anime.

its funny if i didnt know any better (and im pretty sure this is the case). They wanted unlimited fafnir to appeal to younger kids and lets face it if you have kids that are younger then 13 watch this MOST of em would be scared pretty easily by it so they make it less terrifying.

Gotta say, this LN was a damn pleasant surprise, it uses generic elements but presents them beautifully, I felt a LOT for poor Mitsuki.

well the anime showed that the basilisk was a bitch to get rid of but i cant help but think that for better or worse the change from the LN is a smart one thus far.

well so far, there wasn't much that was changed other than the added Honoka scenes.

The Basilisk battle wasn't that different at all from the anime. Or rather, the anime made it almost the same as the LN but somehow it just came off as boring and lacking in suspense.
Still, they've already eliminated 2 dragons since Yuu joined Midgard. I kinda want to know the world's reaction to the elimination of these threats. Surely they must be praising Midgard a lot now.

And a sudden confession...sort of, since Yuu is getting confused now with his lost memories. The part where he hugged Iris was a pretty good scene. And now I get why Firill is the cover of the next volume with the death of presumably her father from the Crest family.

3 volumes in one month. It's insane.

Well vol 4 prologue is out and its kinda ironic that the girl who is the dumbest character on the group sad something so smart for what it is read the prologue

I have to agree with Firill that Yuu should hit on Lisa, since she gets all red and embarrass.

Teasing her is so much fun and a payback for being harsh. Yuu and Lisa's conversations are entertaining. I'm looking forward in reading volume 5 since its centered around her.

Damn, hit in the feels again at the end of Volume 3.

Spoiler for vol 3 epilogue:

Again, I feel sorry for Yuu for losing more of his memory about Mitsuki being not blood related. He's at the point that he needed someone to share his secret or get crushed inside and what person could be other than Iris. He finally confessed he loves her which is sweet.

There are now three girls who loves him. Hoping Lisa will be included in the future

Volume 3 completed, and Volume 4 up next.

Part one of the first chapter really confirms Firill is a princess.

Lisa isn't too far off, being a genuine princess as well.

Also, a big thanks again to the translator for picking this up. It has been fun.

The word 蒼玖 in ch4 name is not a normal word. It's a composite word from the kanji 蒼(blue) and 玖(nine), normally used as people name.
In this case I have to read for the context of the volume before translating it.

One thing for sure is that the mystery about Neun will be unveiled from this volume.
