Remember, the White-Clads were keeping track of the real Obi and Hinawa. They were the ones who told Shinra to go fetch Benimaru and directed him towards that point. It'd be simple enough for them to station themselves near him, wait for him to throw the first fire attack, and slip out while the real pair investigate from close-by. His first blast was, after all, big enough to been seen from a good distance away.

I've really enjoyed the last 3 episodes. Fire Force is much better at handling smaller poignant moment than it's huge dramatic beats. That said, this arc does have potential to improve there.

Also I'm so tired of Tamaki being nothing but fanservice, I had almost forgotten she even fight until this episode because that has been the entireity of her character.

Arthur is pretty useful, just don't expect him to figure out things like directions on his own.

No new OP and ED? Well, I guess they had to save budget for the sakuga this week. Benimaru's fight was awesome.

Forgot to mention one thing I found really odd. Everybody's beating the crap out of each other but the obvious bad guy who sticks out like a sore thumb in the crowd is left alone. What was up with that?

My guess is that they're just waiting until the start of the next arc to start using the second opening.

I am not a fan of the new opening and ending songs, but I really like the visuals/videos for them.

Pretty impressive and I like where the story is heading after seeing them.

I really like the new OP.

Iris seemed out of character in this episode. She always came across as the serious type, but she acted like a total goof here. Then again, it's not like she's had much screentime.

I like the OP as far as the song goes, but the storyboarding is pretty ill-fitting for the energy it's got. ED is just as good as the old one.

The oceanic hologram sequence was nice and reveal a bit world-building we didn't know about. The environment really got hit but cataclysm too, if Shinra and co weren't aware of such wonders.

Arthur's knight outfit was the funniest thing I've seen all season. I couldn't stop laughing. That guy's really got a screw loose

You know, if that powered him up this much, they really ought to make him wear a proper knight armor.

Hmm, she's always come across as a bit of an airhead to me. She was portrayed as too shy to approach others in her backstory though so it's definitely a little odd that she'd go around messing with someone else's property right away, but she has had the goofiness in her or some such.

I personally think the anime did a very poor job of making the viewer understand how the Iris and Hibana situation back in the 5th company invasion arc being resolved was a kind of catharsis for both of them. At least IMHO.
