Aibon! =] Same here. I think the show has been done really well. It's not as cheesy as some of the shows that "try" so hard to make fun of the otaku world. This one actually makes me laugh.

Well it's the arts festival and I figured this was going to be fanservicy and sure enough it was especially the pool side massages by Eriko and co. It goes out with a bang bringing back saonji, momoka, the 2 teachers, and the lesbian couple. On a whole it was an enjoyable series, guess I'll start reading the manga now. Now that this is done time to look for a new monday show.

I'm still trying to figure out why this show has had such a negative backlash, and then faded into relative obscurity, particularly after episodes like 9. As cliched and somewhat predictable as that was, that was hilarious. I was near in stitches after some of those scenes.

I must say, this show had me laughing from start to end despite being the so called "lonely male otaku". Probably because so many things happen to resemble what i experienced in high schoool days. (Coming from an all boys school, we tend to go out and meet the all girls school's girl a lot)

Eriko, Kouda and Yuma are an absolute riot in this show.

I hate to say yes to this question, but, the overall non-sense crazyness level in Joshikousei is better than Haruhi.

Just watch ep 12 of Joshikousei and you'll understands why.

Haruhi is good, but the random episode order do takes it toll in -ve side of the crazyness. (except the island arc)

A good fun show means it doesn't need watcher to whack out all his brain cell for the jokes and fun, as how Haruri's ED works.

I knew this show must be something when I saw the 2 sided ending b4 and after ED, a good story telling trick on TV making full use of it's airing timeslots being an material to play with.

I'd agree this show is quite short, the manga have many materials to fool around with like sex diet. And Eriko's stupid measures agains moltsters on train is also funny.

The white box on each line covers "me" "ga" "ne" does have it's meaning, "me" means megane here, means Ayano and Shimotakatani problem: feel moe when watching eyeglasses girl.

"Ga" means ogaa-san(could be wrong, but ga and ka sounds about the same) or mom here, and "ne" become nee-san(elder sister).

So it's a Ayano and her family show.

I love SuzuHaru too, but this anime is also part of our collection in the Genshiken video archives. LIME does a good job on this fansub, as they have with other anime they worked on. I wouldn't say that LIME Anime is the best fansubber out there (I reserve that title for another group), but they're close.

The ecchi level didn't tuned down abit over all, it changed from outbound side ecchi "fan service" to inward one. Try get the fun again.

Ep 12 has push it to somewhere near the max in terms of ecchi-ness.

Still, I wish it get 1 more episode to go, just to make fun of some more things.

If this show was better drawn and animated it would have been better overall, IMO (the same problem that Suzuka suffered from). It's not bad content-wise, rather quality-wise. And middle school girl pantsu? Come on now...

Finished the series, it had its moments and funny scenes. Overall it was alright. I did however friken loved the intro parodies lmao, one of the reasons i kept watching it.

I didn't read any of this thread during the course of the show. However, I usually do a quick scan of a thread I haven't been following to make sure the images I'm about to post haven't been posted before. I just became engrossed and read every post. The first seven or eight pages were just so entertaining.

You get a sense that those panties don't belong. And because they are out of place, they have more of an impact. Each panty shot in Joseikousei counts as 4.3 normal panties.

What's different about this show is that it presents women as sex subjects...

PS: Chafing nipples are hilarious no matter what context.

The peeing sketch was genius.

It's just that nothing in this show seems presented in an erotic way.
Edit: Except perhaps the green haired girl's daydreams...but those are so....retarded...

After my twelfth viewing of the accidental 69, I put the used sock (herringbone twill) in the laundry hamper and immediately logged onto animesuki to register my rage and disgust.

The naysayers were pretty entertaining as well. How could anyone be anti-panty? It rhymes (which, as far as I'm concerned, immediately makes it a suspicious concept).

...which means Yuma's "death by cramps" scene captures the very essence of the series. I thought the episode did a great job of tying everything together in a cheesy self-conscious way, right down to the "don't you remember me?" jokes when they brought Saionji Mari back.

A lot of people criticised this series for being trash, and well, they do have a point. But it's inspired trash, and it has a special place in my affections for going where no anime has gone before. So a big thank-you to LIME for bringing us the unique insanity of the baka gundan!

Only question now is whether anyone will be brave enough to license it
