Takumi will probably get even more pathetic as the story progresses and there are fair number of paranoid characters in this series which may put you off (depending on presentation style of studio), though your signature should be more than enough to hook you to this series

I honestly wonder why so many people put their stock in the anime leads in that sense. So the guy is pretty delusional, a loser and a weirdo. I think it's interesting. Heck, he may remain a bit of an antagonist while he's at it.

impressions from spoiler screenshots: what's with the anime figure women? leading guy seems lame
impressions after watching the first episode subbed: It's so twisted AND AWESOME *_* I'm loving it xD Leading guy's personality is interesting. His crazy delusions, for me, make him unique and interesting, compare to many loser male leads out there. The other females seem interesting too *_* Especially the pink haired one *_* Oh I'm hooked xD

When someone is that far gone it really makes it tough to figure out what's actually going on. Tough to make calls on during the times we're dealing with this guy's viewpoint

. Anyways the first episode was pretty interesting. Looking forward to how Takumi develops throughout this thing.

Just saw the first episode. I was surprised how much I actually enjoyed it. Takumi seems like a very intriguing lead character, and the story with the murders seems promising. So yeah, I'll probably be watching this series.

Really, the only thing I kinda didn't like in the episode was the fact that Takumi's younger sister Nanami has that frog thing on her cell phone. A younger sister named Nana and frogs. Hmm... Sounds kinda familiar to me.

. Still considering the different genre at work here doubt that tiny frog will show up too often.

A very unlikable protagonist; Takumi seems worse than the guy in the new Kurogane no Linebarrel. As for the female lead, her crossbow weapon seems to be rather cool.

I'd have to say the first episode was better than I had expected. I just loved the quality of the animation and the colors. All I can say is I really need to get around to the game -__-;;

For whatever reason, lots of people feel the need to like or identify with a protagonist. Maybe shows would become more enjoyable to them if they tried viewing the events from a distance instead of picturing themselves in the protagonist's shoes.

As for Takumi, I can't say I feel any hostility toward him, despite his personality flaws. He may be a delusional loser, but so what?

Strange how I just finished watching Welcome to the NHK! a month ago, and now this new show also stars a schizophrenic recluse, but now with murders.

Very nice episode, looking forward to the next one
