Do you think there will be panty shots on the DVD versions? Some of Arashi's skateboard moments there could lead to it. Though I think not since KJ is not a pantsu guy, but who knows...probably we'll gotta wait till the dvd arrives. Also the old man on the right taking an order looks like the old man from Hanai's training, gotta wonder will there be more SR references besides Harima, Tenma and KJ's name?

I thought I could get used to Shinbo after the hilarious Maria+Holic but Natsu no Arashi had to go and remind me all over again why I generally stay away from SHAFT. Not only that, I sort of hate Jin Kobayashi after School Rumble's manga end, so I guess this is one series off my Spring watch list~!

Hajime, Kaya, Jun,Hideo, Kanako and Sayaka(MASTER) are the ones similar to the manga.
The others Takeshi became a bishounen here. Arashi and Yayoi MOST ESPECIALLY THESE LAST TWO had a big difference in facial design. I wish they sticked with KJ's character art design in all the characters...OR probably they'll re-do the animation in the DVD versions along with the panty shots hints and other scenes.

You know it makes me laugh at the amount of people who are complaining that the character designs don't like the manga. I mean you do know it's not supposed to be a complete copy, right?

I'm a fan of KJ's School Rumble , so obviously i will watch Natsu no Arashi completely too, i really didn't liked the first episode on my first watch, it was chap 17... or something from the manga and any newbie would think dropping the series because SHAFT had the idea of exploding a bomb in their faces. I have read the early chapters of Natsu Arashi and i felt a little overwhelmed, not just the chapter skipping , but the art was not a fit for my tastes, anyway, chapter 2 was greatly animated , it was nearly perfect, the only thing that wasn't too good for me ,was some of SHAFT art-collage or imagery overload felt a little out of place.
