Seriously though, the Uchiha bring it all upon themselves. No one forced them to go around killing their family to get a shiny new pair of eye balls. It's like a psycho killer pleeing innocent, saying that it was fates (and the voices in his head) fault that he likes wearing the skin of dead women.

-Would you believe me if I said that things like that happen in real life? Seriously, it is rather scary when you think about it. A few years back there was a trial about a guy who killed a person with a billiard ball in a sock because the person he killed was from the Middle East. He claimed he heard God telling him and guiding him to "purge the evil terrorists" and so he did. His sentence was 6 months of community service and the 4 weeks he spent in jail were deducted from that. Trust me, stupid shit happens in real life too.

lol reminds me of Tales of Symphonia 2. Marta spamming photon with 0 cooldown after obtaining certain sets of skills and gear.

Anyway, I've got a thought that whatever powers Sasuke gains from Itachi's eyes will be nullified by whatever Itachi-given powers Naruto could tap into...The recent anime episode made me remember that little part, since it's been buried in history...Makes sense that a counter would be created from the same source, right?

Seems all too predictable now, but it's probably the only thing that could practically keep Sasuke and his Sharingan from going overboard in uber-power and in check...

I have to say Kishi retcons a lot of things that make you go wow that character is stupid when hes not really being stupid its just the retcon.
Madara was the only one going blind at the time so I can understand why he didn't just exchange eyes with his brother. Itachi said the process involved a lot of trial and error so for all we know they dont know if 2 siblings exchanging eyes will work.

Either way Oro was made the dumbest due to retcon. He could have just taken sasuke's eyes and been done with it. Kishi makes another retcon and says he needs sasuke's body to used the sharingan which is a lie.

Retcons just mess everyone up.

i think Itachi farsaw Sasuke using his eyes to gain EMS. Whatever he gave Naruto will stop Sasuke from using EMS on Naruto. The power he gave Naruto comes from his own MS and now Sasuke is using the same eyes that gave Naruto a gift. So in short Itachi's ryes will refuse to work against Naruto.

I would. You'd be surprised how many fictional movies and literature out there are actually based on reality. Shit, some of the best are "based on true stories" lol. ( two of my favourite being Casino and Good Fellas) Lots of these weapons, scientific equipment and etc. in these sci-fi movies are based on what people like DARPA have in the works. (i.e. I've seen some "superbody suits" that are close to what they had in that horrible movie G.I. Joe)


I like the way this chapter was paced, I thought it was excellent. It was also great to see Neji again for two seconds; I really hope he gets a decent fight during the invasion. I think this is the first time I've seen Naruto back down from a fight -- regardless of whether or not he thought he could win, since that never made a difference before. I really want to find out what the hell he's talking about. And oh yeah, Kabuto... I do like his character and think hes pretty cool, but seeing him now just makes me miss Orochimaru; especially watching him take on the late great Sannin's traits. I'd like to see him take on Kakashi though; that was overdue for a while now. They had two pretty nice stalemates in part I.

i say shika wasnt fooled, because hes not an idiot. but he still has to think hes not being logical, while in narutos mind, hes pretty set.

could naruto beaten a weak sasuke? of course, but madara and zetsu was around, and because while sasuke will aim to kill, naruto will aim to save. im starting to think naruto didnt mean sasuke will die, but he meant he will die as he cant be redeemed, almost like sasukes hope is naruto and if his hope is gone, thats the end...... i think maybe im just thinking to much into it and its just a simple....our best moves would just kill us because of the force.

Yeah it's actually pretty weird, they're breaking with the old tradition of the strongest one in the village being Hokage.

Then again Naruto is still a bit young and the story would be over fast if he became Hokage now.

Ofcourse, now that Kakashi is Hokage, who is so close to Naruto, he will probably die in a good while, and on his deathbed Naruto will hold him in his arms, take of his mask, and Kakashi will mutter: "Naruto... I choose you... As the next Hokage....".

Probably after the end with the Sasuke battle.

And they all lived happily ever after, the end.

and sakura, shes worthless, always has been, but its a manga aimed at boys, so its supposed to have strong main characters and weak female ones. only 1-2 girls in the whole manga have been worth their time and 1 died and the other was in a coma.

but the point stands, main characters will never lose to lesser ones that result in death, i say kakashi would win, others say he would lose, im biased as kakashi is my fav character. i dont feel that kakashi would be so foolish to allow anyone to gain their upper hand.

he wanted to kill madara straight out with his most powerful move. Kakuzu also was hit with a move that would kill anyone else. he died because he didnt plan for naruto to use himself as bait, so it outsmarted him. but kakashi was the one who killed him naruto just badly damaged him.

oro was always shown to be lower then itachi when it comes to brains and tactics. so him getting owned by him wasnt bad. sasuke beating him wasnt bad also as oro was pretty much dying slowly in bed.

danzo wasnt prepared at all, he was acting on the fly with his hax eyes and didnt account for genjitsu.

everyone has their highs and lows. kakashi beating naruto is just my personal bias.

Omg, you're so right about Pain, and as for Kakashi, I feel the same way.

About Kabuto, I really hope he will return as the main villain one day, and not just a small fry that gets dealt with the moment he returns, as it was the case with Orochimaru.
I just imagined how great it would be, if Naruto would one day actually manage to bring Sasuke to his senses, and just when Sasuke was begging for forgiveness, Kabuchimaru would backstap him, smiting Naruto's, Sakura's and Sasuke's hopes in that very moment. Oh my god, that would be so awesome.

I don't think its an exchange of eyes, but a fusion of the eyes in one body.

See above for first arguement. Pls, if there was a lot of trial and error, I'm sure someone would have tried a straight exchange, if it was possible.

For the second, I don't see the retcon. From as soon as we see Kakashi's Sharingan, it was stated that because he doesn't have the Uchiha body it strains him more, that was why Oro couldn't just take Sasuke's eyes. He could have, but his bodies effective ness would decrease.

Danzo had Shishu's(sp?) arm, and only used one sharingan jutsu from there. Shishu's eye was covered up most of the time, and could only be used once a day. This could be due to Danzo not having an Uchiha body.

tHis is just speculation though.

Honestly, I can't imagine how does a pair of eyes fuse with another.

I'm thinking that it's like getting an apple pie and a blueberry pie and squishing one into another. But that would be nasty.

sasuke gets itachis eyes which were going blind....

wtf do you want a pair of defective eyes to gain EMS? i thought any pair of sharingan eyes would just do, but there should also be a drawback if you use defective eyes...fkn lame.

I think Sasuke just replaced his eyes with Itachi, and then Sasuke's chakra fuses with Itachi's eyes or whatever. Remember, Madara asked if Sasuke would transplant Itachi's eyes. Transplant is in other words trading.

Personal bias is fine as long as you keep in mind that everyone Naruto has beaten (with few exceptions) have been older, more experienced, and constantly considered stronger.

It IS canonical fact that Naruto is the strongest in the village, even if you refuse to believe it.
