Yeah, I'm sure there will be. Even right now he's still a very suspicious character, I mean:

-- Seems to have white hair. I'm not entirely sure, but I think we had situations before we Lag was described like this, giving off the impression it's a rare trait that not a lot of people have. Lag and Gauche both fit this category, and so does this guy.

-- He has a big scar-like thing on his face, and seems unable to open his eye as well. Curiously, it seems to be the same eye as the one where Lag has his Spirit Amber. I'm not even sure if both are related or not, but it's definitely very fishy, heh.

-- The aforementioned situation where he obviously has been in contact with Reverse and noticed something about Lag; Also the man at the end talking about something done to their bodies.

Oh well, I can't wait to see what else is in store for us!

Yeah, I have vol. 8 of the manga in my hands and the scene happens exactly as it does in the anime. New Roda even gets a bubble where she goes "woof" in the translation I have (we can hear Roda's barking in the anime, but there's no indication that it's actually the new Roda doing it).

Totally unrelated, but I only noticed now that the second opening of Reverse would be sung by Suga Shikao. This'll bring back memories of the first season...

Indeed, Aria's certainly filled out since the last time she put on those Bee pants.

Poor Lag, exhausted from shooting too many shindans. As we all know, even for a healthy lad in the prime of youth like Lag shooting too often will make you listless and disoriented. But it did set up the magnificent Niche/Aria scenes. The interaction between Niche and Aria provides some of the best moments in the episode - Niche's disgust at Aria's boobs, her constant reminders that Aria is "no Lag!".And Aria reminding Niche that Sylvette is a pretty serious rival for Lag's heart - a fact that Niche is only too aware of.

I came across that a few few weeks, though didn't know if it was official or not, so i'm glad, very glad. The first OP for the first season is one of my all time favorite OP's, so i hope Suga's Reverse OP one can live upto that.

Aw, no new episode this week? Well that makes me sad, but I guess I should use the time to re-read the manga. I was a little puzzled by episode 38 since it felt like they either switched around a few of the events in the manga or are paring down the Cold Letters arc (which makes me worried since that's getting really close to where the manga is and it's actually a good place to add in filler). I'm still a little twitchy after all the fillers in the last season, really don't want that to happen again.

Finally, Tegami Bachi 14 day! I still have to watch the episode itself, but gave a quick look at the new OP/ED.

The OP song is, as expected, a very nice tune, a typical Suga Shikao song. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I dig the sequence, because it feels like it doesn't fit very well with the song. Some of the scenes actually made me wonder whether or not they were stuff from past episodes.

The ED, on the other hand, while having a very simple concept is just really cute. Lag and Niche running around and all sorts of animals and stuff popping up in their way worked great. It passes off that feeling of adventure that got me into Tegami Bachi in the first place. The song's also upbeat and goes well with the whole thing.

I'm going to assume the new OP animation hasn't been finished yet - almost everything has been recycled from past episodes, except one or two scenes that were actually in episode 14. They can't pull this off after the first OP looked that good. Maybe next week?

Totally digging the Suga Shikao song, of course.

Not sure if I'm sold on the new OP/ED either (really hope that isn't the final OP since there was sooo much recycled footage) but I'm sure they'll grow on me.

I'm hoping for a more complete OP. When you think that we've had three brilliant OP's so far, and now having to have one fulled with scenes from past episode and this weeks, it's a huge shame. Great to have Suga Shikao back though. What a song.

So the big secret (well one of them) hits. It'll be so interesting to hear what you anime original fans will make of this, especially in regards to the 'creature' inside the sun. It was totally unexpected in the manga and very creepy. Sure i knew it was coming in this episode, though still plenty creepy.

Interesting background involving the airship incident. The creature in the sun was...weird...the 'sun' is an egg of some sort?

I don't really care for the new OP and ED songs, but the ED animation is excellent: chibi Lag & Niche jumping around like Super Mario Bros.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this show, I didn't even know this was based off a manga.

There's so many things I'd like answered but I don't even know the questions. The only one I remember is: Who is Lag? What was that all about in the doctors room? I doubt that's been answered already.
Seeing that creature in the sun freaked me out a little. As I was reading some of the comments here I suddenly thought of the giant sun being a man made spirit amber. The gaichuu collect/eat people's hearts and this 'sun' takes a part of people as if it's feeding. That was something I just made up now but it seems quite interesting.
I cried a little when Gauche came to and Sylvette flew into his arms. I'm not entirely sure how they ended up on the floor when he was on the bed, or where the wheelchair rolled off to but that didn't matter Gauche was back! At least I hope he's back.
I can't wait to see how this story develops.
PS. Aria Link. Going a little pervy here but those trousers are so tight and don't even go up to her waist... That's not all, her eyes are so sharp yet feel so calm being green. I love her design.

Man, how can this show continue to show to deliver such great developments!? I'd thought we'd be swimming in fillers by now.

Was Kobayashi also Elena in the 1st season? Such a waste I cant hear more of her voice =0(.
Dr. Thunderland looked cool as hell as a Bee, like some kind of delinquent . Niche saying "can I make him hurt" was adorable(as she usually is =03). And like Stefkov said, 'dem trousers'; they need some air. BAD (it is kinda hot though =03).

It was quite the episode with quite a bit of development. Seeing what happened on the Day of Flicker was interesting enough, but the situation with Lag was equally interesting.

With Lag exclaiming "Mother" like the flickering sun, I wonder if perhaps Lag IS the sun, or "A" sun. Maybe it was even Lag himself that was saying it 12 years ago as he was born, as I think he said his b-day was on the same day as the DoF.

It was also interesting to see how what seemed like unimportant gatekeepers from the 1st season having a involving role in all of this, and why exactly they're working for Reverse. I can only wonder where the 3rd triplet is. And now that Gauche is awaken, I'm curious as to what he is going to do. Surely he isn't going back to being a Bee, and with that foreshadowing that Houdai spoke of, his freedom may be short-lived.

Frankly I hate the new OP and ED but this episode was certainly great.
