He says that if they hadn't changed the route of the caravan on Begaritto, that the person would have arrived to rescue Roxy in place of Rudeus would have come in on their caravan (along with the map), but Rudeus and Elinalise made some seriously good time getting there, so how would that have been possible? Especially with the gigantic ambush that Rudeus singlehandedly thwarts using a ridiculous amount of melded magic. It seems like an outright Lie by Hitogami, and rather, a further intention of him aiming to kill her since she blips on his radar at the start, because of Lara.

I thought the exact same thing when Hitogami "explained" why it would have been fine for Rudeus to have not gone. And as it turns out, one of Hitogami's goals was to kill Roxy...

I'm guessing that fate was strongly leading Rudeus to that continent, and that Hitogami didn't think Rudeus would actually listen to him, but he just gave it a shot anyway. Since by that point, Rudeus had started trusted Hitogami a bit, it could have worked. Because even though Roxy probably did have a strong fate to survive, that fate was directly connect to Rudeus's fate at that time, so his fateful choices could have outweighed her fate to survive.

In contrast, fate wasn't strongly inclined toward Rudeus not opening the cellar door during Turning Point 4, so exploiting that moment was Hitogami's long term goal, and by that time he'd gotten Rudeus to trust him (and Rudeus had gullibly accepted his explanation about Roxy).

In general, my guess that it's true that some of Rudeus's descendants will cooperate with Orsted, but whether they will actually take down Hitogami is unknown. It seems more likely that there's something more complicated going on revolving around the fact that the hero's role was changed to Lara and that some mysterious third party started all this by summoning Nanahoshi. It might be true that Hitogami doesn't know who that person is, but he ought to know what effect their actions have had on the future.

I feel as though I have a good sense of what kind of "liar" Hitogami is... he only lies about incidental things that garner sympathy or disguise his long-term motives and that the other party has no way to see through, and tells the lies very smoothly as though he's just stating something casual or unimportant. He tells the minimum number of lies necessary to cause the other party's understanding of events to lead them to make a decision that's favorable to him.

What stopped future Rudeus and the current Orusuteddo from entering the void world and fighting hitogami is that in order to access the void world, a certain key is necessary. That key is linked to Laplace's revival, which will happen in ~100 years.

Future Rudeus was told that he would never be able to enter the void world because he simply wouldn't live until Laplace's revival.
Similarly, even though Orusuteddo knows the required keys, he's unable to cheat his way into the void world and also has to wait for Laplace's revival.

Future Rudeus already confirmed this, and by that time he is already too old to exact his revenge. so he decided to gie Hitogami some unexpected blow.

What stopping Orstedd from killing Hitogami is uncertain factor called [Rudeus Grayrat] and [Nanahoshi Shizuka].

though it's look like in the future Nanahoshi will assist Orstedd and Rudy's child in killing Hitogami with her wisdom[earth weaponry, for example is combining "Blitz" with Rudy "Rock Shell Shotgun", what do you think will happen?]

And yes, I was wondering why he never did just perfect hsi flying. As long as he constantly froze a fullbody layer of outer clothing, even at low altitudes he could reach decents speeds, right? Or is there some other factor that I haven't thought about?

Just finished reading volume 8 and how Iloved in the last side chapter how Eris was bragging about not being a virgin to Nina and the others, and how the man who took her virginity "Rudeus" was an amazing person who landed a hit on the Dragon god etc. And how Nina went to see him for her own eyes and witness him blowing a Demon god in one hit lol. This is just keeps getting funnier and funnier. I decided to put reading Mushoku Tensei on hold until Baka-Tsuki finish with up to vol 10 at least.

I still would like a walk through spoiler about Eris journey after she left Rudeus to train with the Sword God. And please spoil until you're heart contains And I mean from when she left him and until she marries him and has Rudeus child.

Also what happent to Ruijerd Supard after he left them after their encounter with Ostard the dragon god? Does he meet up with Rudeus? or Eris?


God since there are so many volumes and chapters yet to be translated I'm so excited I just need to know :P But I don't want to use MT on chapters since I want to wait for Baka-Tsuki to translate them, even though I still don't mind for getting a bit spoiled :P

I thought that Laplace didn't die and was just sealed so I think it is impossible for him yo be reborn. And I think the one who will be reborn is the trick god, the other half of Laplace.

I thought not advancing his flying was because it was freaking dangerous. He breaks his legs half the time he tries... I wouldn't be that anxious to perfect a magic like that either if I was him.

Although yea, there would definitely be some advantages to it. I've always thought, in a battle if he just shot himself up into the air then rained down destruction from the skies where his opponents couldn't reach, I thought that would be really effective.

I'm sure it would hurt, but he can heal it up anyway, and with practice he'd stop breaking his legs.
