Hm.. I just rammed an IS-8 off a cliff in Dragon Ridge in my KT ..
And it'll probably hurt my efficiency cause I didn't get "damage" on it .. and I fell off after him (clutch braking my butt!) .. EDIT: So.. tonight has been frustrating. Close to a 45% win rate on my KT? Maybe lower? Tons of "top XP but loss" and "completely steamroll by VOLT+G platoon while my own team shoots each other" -- Even my wins on my other tanks look like this, a classic "Win but relatively low XP and low efficiency rate game" -- I'm the only one covering a flank, do decent sniping damage, but I serve as the "alarm clock" for the team.. They get notice that there's a huge group of ~8 tanks trying to sneak our flank, after I die, they're still spotted so they kill them.. but no credit for me.. boo ..

Quote:
"The Master said: 'In tankery, there is nothing greater than defeat of an enemy by forcible displacement, to speak nothing of self-obliteration in the same stroke. For there is no greater report to one's ancestral clan than direct sacrifice, which was cultivated by the ancient kings. In this there is no greater name than Wei Ho-hsien (2). Formerly, Wei Ho-hsien plunged into a chasm one hundred chang (1) in depth, compelling in the act an IS-8 of the foe's rank to fall before him to the demise of both. In sight of the rising mist embodying the spirits of the deceased, a loud cry of eulogy was expressed by all present, and the deed was recorded by the survivors (2). How much greater still that no contact was necessary? Truly, this is the natural way. It is said in the Rites of Tankery: 『For the death of a foe in mortal combat, no act does shame my ancestors!』'" 1= (written: 丈) An ancient unit of length, about 3 metres 2= A transliteration of "wilhelmson". Some sources indicate he was a Buddhist sage from India though there is no evidence to support this. 3= Modern analysis of the terrain indicates that the only witnesses would have been arty. tl;dr: ramming is awesome and you should be proud. {6.4, from The Proper Demeanor of a Superior Tankist} "A disciple asked: 'How is it that I can find neither satisfaction nor efficiency in the sniping weapons?' The Master said: 'Alas, just so are the common ways! They trust only the Alpha Shang (1) dealt by the accompanying varieties of P'ao, and are content to name themselves seasoned! To do battle with natural precision and true machination, even when armed with the fragile long Chi'ang (2), how can these two be compared!'" 1= "damage" 2= The term denotes a long, sniping gun. Not to be confused with "P'ao" {9.2, from The State of the Sages} "The Master remarked: 'There is a knight (1) of great acclaim in the southwesternly states. Do you know of whom I speak?' A disciple rose to answer: 'Yes, it is the man T'e-Ah. Formerly, T'e-Ah was famous for the sale of all his vehicles, of which the IS-7 was the only remainder. He is considered by [all who have heard of him] to be a lunatic.' The Master said: "No lunatic was he, but a sage! Not lusting after silver, nor intimidated by the toils of grinding, nor competing for experience, he is no longer constrained by Heaven and Earth, but goes as their equal. His actions appear perplexing to those common men, for he has attained the Tao.'" 1=The term "knight" here serves as an official honorific, as opposed to a dedicated warrior. (this last one is a true story - a guy I know sold every tank he had except his IS-7 so he could concentrate on it. He has since repurchased many of his tanks, however. ) Last edited by LeoXiao; 2013-01-27 at 05:23. |

have a lucky kill today, after wresting with the IS-3 in my Crom for a while in Dragon Ridge, he pushed me off the cliff, then a T34 push that IS-3 off the cliff and landed right on my wreck and somehow I credited for killing him .

Spoiler for Meet my new baby:
So, I'm now the proud owner of a King Tiger. And thanks to Pen3, I was able to pop my KT cherry with a few high-tier matches. We even partied with Sume for a bit, though she left when we were having a bad run... Which ironically ended when she left, and Darsovin took over. Oh yeah, this is with the base tier 8.8 cm, so I have to REALLY aim carefully. Everything else is already at their final modules though, so all I really need to grind is the 10.5 final gun.

Pascucci's Medal in the T-25. We'd cleared the northwest corner of the map (and our M-4 drove into the water). I went racing toward the usual spots in the northeast corner and saw the Hummel. Shooting at it while moving 50 KPH on uneven ground wasn't working so well, and it blew off half of my HP. So I bumped it.
Went to A0, saw nothing, turned south. The AMX 13F3 and M7 got spotted on the middle hill, so I sped up toward them. I hit the AMX a couple of times for damage and was about 20 meters from ramming it (in the back, mind you) when someone else shot it. The Priest then took another 25% of my HP and I missed on the move again, so I beat it with the front of my tank. Someone noticed my ramming speed this time and commented. The T57 was on the reverse slope of the east hill and I actually felt safe enough to shoot it, since it was pointing away from me. This still wasn't as funny as finishing off a Pz38nA last night by hitting it with my Hetzer. |

A few other stuff from yesterday before I head off to work:
Spoiler for Probably my best showing on a Sherman, ever:
Blaat: What? The B1 is actually fun. I've even killed tier V heavies like the KV or Churchill with it, though more as a team effort.

So i have the most ridiculous match today.
Basically this I go to the enemy base And wait there alone (With enemy T32 but he not bother to attack me) Then I manage capture the base alone After that I get destroyed HOWEVER I still WIN!
