Nope, Opium and Morphine included as analgesic. Aspirin, Paracetamol and Ibuprofen is what people called "Painkiller Pills" that is indeed over the counter. Analgesic pretty much cover all type of painkiller.

7 years old (no joke) though the actual romance started at the age of puberty. (the reason why elementary girls talk about romance while the boys is busy having an adventure

Well, most analgesic also often doubles as antipyretic (fever suppressant drug). This means they're mostly used for treating the effect, not the cause of problem (diseases, injury etc).

So other stuff is given along with them in certain case. For example, treating the injury with proper care and giving the analgesic-antipyretic to reduce the pain and , or combining the usage of analgesic-antipyretic to suppress the fever and pain in a cold that requires antibiotic to cure etc.

At the age of seven, it's part of their exploration of social concept, that's why I said the actual romance comes at the age of teen, and of course developed until the kid is mature enough.
