Last night was a painful game game right up until the 61st minute XD .. then the flood gate open.

And injury bites us again with Djorou =.= and we had to play egghead in the centre back .. and he scores .. How can this poor distraught mind handle all this

Close, but no cigar. But Liverpool at least can be proud of themselves, and gave Chelsea massive hell, scoring 4 goals against them without Gerrard.

Until next year in the Champions League. Now to continue their Premier League quest and see where it'll go.

But seriously though if Utd's form doesn't improve it will be either Liverpool or Chelsea for the title. Great game by those two sides though, great to watch from the beginning to the end.
Tomorrow will be interesting match, if the Utd's match form against Sunderland continues Porto will run all over them.

Remember to thank Marcheda for that if that happens. That goal against Villa was more to do with Martin O'Neill being a complete incompetent imbecile and did nothing when Ferguson went desparate and threw everything including the kitchen sink, even when he still got two substitution berths.

And the kitchen sink this time turns out to be Marcheda. This dispels all myth about O'Neill being a top manager once and for all.

Two years ago some former Real Madrid player decried the Liverpool v Chelsea Champions League match as a boring "shit in a stick", hopefully that "shit in a stick" has now finally been shoved down his throat, twice. (The first time when Liverpool destroyed Real 4-0. )

What a goal by Ronaldo to put Utd through the next round. I only saw the first half but Utd's defense looked pretty solid and seems to be getting back to the form before Liverpool trash them. Really excited for Arsenal and Utd's clash, will be fun to watch.
