Yep, Zed, thanks for warning.

I don't think the woman Zed knows as mom is not her real mom, just someone to watch him over till the waited time comes. And, I also believe along the way you thought, seems to be someone from Jimoto.

I didn't know before but the voice of Zed is Hiroyuki Yoshino,who also did the voice of
Hibiki in Vandread
Nawangi in Utawarerumono
Thought it was amazing considering how different the characters sound depending on personality.

I doubt Jimoto is the main worry, according to the July Newtype

...Kalb-fu sounds intriguing, maybe that is where Noah currently is? Seekers must be the Laputa type construction I previously posted. Tusk (aka Kiba?) must where the core of the story revolves around, I guess we have yet to meet the real villains if Tusk is the 'axel of evil'.

Having seen episode 9, I have to say that I'm solidly in the Zed/Rebecca camp. Roia can just have Miki or something.

Heh, I have to admit that I'm leaning towards the Zed/Rebecca camp myself now. This series certainly keeps moving. Well we find out whose spirit the demon-lookalike with the spike is now from the teaser at the end as well.

I thought it was kinda funny how Zed didn't say a word to Roia. But then it is kind of her fault what happened (she reported the girl). Also Roia didn't seem to help Zed at all with the whole getting thrown in jail thing.

I have to say Zed made a wise move leaving with the princess. Tempura doesn't seem to take kindly to Zed. Everyone is suspicious of him and they like to throw him in jail at the drop of a hat. GO ZED! He's got a new girl :P

They penned Zed's spirit, Amil Gaul, to be "uncontrollable, powerful, and dangerous". Heh heh, I suppose it would be naive to think it's merely a coincidence that his spirit just happens to be akin to him. And the fact that the word "spirit" can mean both ways in this context further adds to the suggestion of Zed himself. Intentional or not, I like the subtle consequence of that word. Zed escaping by force from the prison is only going to confirm the counsel's worse suspicion and strengthen its discrimination. I suppose he has to ameliorate that at a later opportunity. Some scenes of Roia appeared iffy in this episode, which was a bummer, but I suppose Sonhex's shots of chibi-Roia somewhat makes up for it.

Episode 10 again moves the plot further than half a normal season of typical shounen anime.

I really wonder what this will all end up the next 40 episodes with that story pacing...

I get the feeling that, unless the series falls apart terribly, this'll be one that'll be coming up in lots of "Versus" topics for years and years to come...much like Berserk, Kenshin, etc.

I'd be amused if Noah wound up becoming something on an Ideon level or something...cause ya can just FEEL that both him and Zed will wind up crazy powerful by the end of this series. Who knows....one series may not even be halfway in this thing.

For goodness sakes, what is wrong with this Zed guy? Doesn't he know he sucks? He gets his butt kicked everytime he meets up with someone half competent and yet he still tries to rush in headlong.
