Finally the dramaville is gone thanks to how everything was resolved this episode.

In the end the relationship between Mizore and Nozomi is fixed, Mizore accepted her own feelings about what happened with Nozomi which leads to see how close they are and how her fear to be alone for what happened is finally done. Kumiko's intervention on all of this was literally meaningless and to be honest I don't even know why she needed to go through everything we saw on the first 3 episodes, considering how the problem resolved itself I must say that's just bad writting right there.

Aside that single complaint, I really liked this episode and the way how this season 2 is going so far. All the disgusting yuribait focus of the season 1 is almost gone and now we have a nice development between the characters and the story, obviously there is still some things left like Suichi and Taki's development as male characters but now that Nozomi's drama has ended we're probably going to have more about those to and their interactions with Kumiko and Reina.

PS: Asuka the best, she did nothing wrong and Nozomi's behavior showed that in the best way possible.

Episode 4:

Ah Mizore...the girl that felt alone until Nozomi came to help her.

I'm glad this episode resolved the drama after Yuuko got involved. About time they made up. In the meantime, I guess we'll be getting some competitive heavy stuff in the upcoming episodes.

What a smile!

Can you not raise this topic every episode?

I loved each second of the episode. And that was quite an interesting expression on Asuka's face closer to the end of the ep. Interrresting.

Not my problem that you like it and you get triggered when someone dislike it, that was one of the mayor problems in season 1 and why lots viewers didn't like it despite having a good story buried by the way how Kyoani focused on something unnecesary.

Also stop nitpicking a single fragment of a whole idea/post to start problems because I pointed how Kyoani toned down that a lot, making Season 2 much better. So yeah deal with it and stop trying to bait. Oh also added to ignore list.

Ep.4

Exceed expectation!

Best ep. in S2 so far. Very “action packed” compares to the first three ep. All VAs did great job in this ep.

Yuuko is the star in this ep. That scene between her and Mizore is perfect. Good to see that it doesn’t have to be MCs job to fix all the problem in the story. Everyone smile is protected in the end.

Kumiko got to know people around her more and strengthened her relationship with them was the real benefit she got out of this.

You mean she was trying to fix this on a indirect way?

uh, no I meant Kumiko still got something out of her intervention even though she wasn't the one who fixed the drama.

well for me this episode fell completly flat. i really dislike the type of character misore is. make your own side of the story, break your relashionship with a friend for a year to the point wich thinking about her make you sick only for something that could (and have) been resolved with a 5min talk ...

and her treating yuuko like that ... god i almsot wanted yuuko to slap her in the dialogue.

the only good part of this ep is that it made yuuko 3 times better in the span of a single episode

I didn't care much for the whole Nozomi-Mizore situation. It made me remember why I didn't like the second novel. It was the weakest. What I did like was the short exchange between Kumiko and Reina at the end:

Kumiko: "Do you play for someone in particular or anything like that?"

Reina: "I've never thought about it. If I had to choose, I would say for myself."

This was gold. It's such a Reina thing to say. I loved it. I actually think the show champions Reina's philosophy as the "right way" to approach music. It was the same when she said that Nozomi was running away. I think the show agreed with that too.

Mizore's not entirely wrong. Nozomi does mean a hell of a lot more to her than she to Nozomi. I mean, Mizore's avoided her for months and Nozomi never even noticed.

Well that whole thing resolved in a different direction than I expected.
Kind of dislike Mizore's take on it. Felt bad for the other one that got 'dumped'

Yea found this amusing.
Nozomi was totally unaware of anything lol. She probably forgot the line about making it to nationals on the bus during middle school that was a big memory for Mizore too.

And don't forget Asuka. They'll probably jump to her character next.

that was a very lol misunderstanding between Mizore and Nozomi. Mizore's got problems for sure, but Nozomi could've at least told the person she freakin INVITED to join in the first place that she was gonna quit. She didn't have to approach Mizore and ask her to quit with her as well like she explained. Now that this is resolved, I hope Nozomi sticks around.

I still feel kind of meh towards Nozomi. Her whole relationship with Mizore was so one-sided and her ignorant attitude is something she desperately needs to work on.
On the other hand, I at least hope any animosity anyone felt towards Yuuko has disappeared. Season 1 didn't do her justice with fans (I liked her), but this episode made it very clear her loyalty and love for her friends is a great quality, though it may get misdirected at times.
Also, I just love the relationship between these two:

I didn't like Yuuko and her oversized bow in season 1, but I started to have a change of heart after the duel between Reina and Kaori. Season 2 has made her so so much more likeable for me mainly because her actions of dedication and love towards her friends doesn't involve butting heads with other band members (for the most part). She's a really good friend, and her relationship with Natsuki is one of the best things about this show. Freakin love those two when they're on screen together.

Nice to see most of you haven't changed your overly critical, cynical, complaining about various aspects you don't like.

To be brief since we're four episodes in: I loved all of Season 1, but every part of Season 2 has been better, down to the OP/EDs. The show as a whole is just getting better and better.

Nozomi is fantastic, Mizore needs a hug, Yuuko is trying hard to be best girl (I really like her now), and Asuka remains... Asuka. I hope Asuka's whatever-is-up-with-her gets resolved soon, it's honestly a bit stressful worrying about her constantly. I definitely don't want to be spoiled, but I want the show to hurry up and get there.

On that note, Asuka's expression when Nozomi showed up was holy-shit-scary.

Also, I have to apologize to S1 Ep8, because S2 Ep4 has just dethroned it as best episode. <3

Same here. The way Yuuko acted near the end of season 1 when it came to Reina and Kaori really made me dislike her initially, especially since she was doing it all for little more than fangirl bias, but her actions in season 2 have really been helping to redeem her to me.

Kumiko represented the audience in this scene. She's Us. She's an extension of our desire to help Mizore, but we obviously can't.

Totally agree, probably my 2nd favorite scene besides the main scene with Mizore. Reina is the queen. It even shows her train (hair) flowing majestically behind her as she leaves the classroom.
