Leon did wonder how Marie was managing 5 dudes at night, now I understand that her "experience" from the previous life helped, even in the tiny body she got.
Leon is not scum, we in the same situation would certainly be worse, I would just order Luxon to bring down the bad end sources with a night raid or a nuke, would do my best to refuse getting in the academy, possibly make the whole stepmother family die in a controlled island collapse, his respect for human life is admirable, even if wasted.

And this was less Olivia and Angie tricking him than it was their parents, or specifically Angie's.

Leon got invited to an engagement ceremony where he was led to believe was not his own.
So he showed up to his own official engagement ceremony and was put into a situation where he couldn't leave or it would disrespect Angie's father, who not only organized it but has his daughter as one of the fiancees.

The issue in the original story was that Olivia was with the Prince. And that would make her the queen when prince became king. And if her being a commoner wasn't bad enough she also have 4 other guys with her.

So question, if she were to have a child, who's child would it be? The prince's child is supposed to be the next in line for the crown but it may not even be his but another guy's child.

So he couldn't be engage to Olivia and could only made her a mistress but from the spoiler it said she was engage to Leon too.

First I must apologize to you. I was frustrated. I thought cliches were really obvious.

The Saint title pretty much is forgotten because everyone focused more on Marie's inability to stop the war and started targeting the fury on her instead of paying attention to whoever deserves the title. Marie lost her Saint title but no one ever bothered to give the title to someone else.

In regards to the second question, Leon had wanted no part in this war. However, he was pulled into it by literally several groups, each with their own desires and goals. Ones that I can remember are:

1) Flat-chested enemy nation elder princess (forgot her name) - she maneuvered several slaves into retrieving a Lost Item so that it may reach her home country. She also maneuvered unknown Kingdom nobles who secretly sided with the enemy nation to jail Leon because he has proven to be a danger if he were ever to participate in the war. She attempts to recruit him onto her side, but Leon refused.

2) Slaves - While they didn't want to pull Leon into the war, they did want revenge on Leon. Remember when Leon used the queen as justification to embarrass noble daughters and beat the hell out of their slaves? Well, they wanted a way to get back at Leon and when Flatty Princess suggested to steal the Lost Item with the reasoning that it's something that he holds dear (he was making sure that it was safe and thought that it would be impossible to steal it from Luxon). This Item helped bolster the enemy's power to the point that only Arroganz is its equal. Thankfully they were executed for treason after the war ended.

3) Kingdom nobles - While I have already mentioned that some nobles sided with enemy nation, a lot of them wanted to make sure that Leon doesn't use the war as an opportunity to rise through the ranks AGAIN. Thus they attempted to fight for achievements and get their asses handed to them because Enemy Nation had the ability to control monsters. This ultimately forces Leon to clean up the mess and tell the King he can solve this mess.

4) Royal Family and their ministers - Unlike the others listed above, this group just wanted anybody that can fight. While everyone in this group didn't believe that Leon can solve the problem, they did believe in Leon's reputation as extraordinary adventurer who has captured a really difficult dungeon. Leon instead convinces them that certain conditions need to be met. These conditions are actually his attempt to bring the world back to the story as dictated by the game which leads us to finding out several people's lovey-doveyness with each other. Ultimately the King makes a final decision and entrusts Leon with a position that is equivalent to head of the military even though Leon has no prior military achievements that normally are demanded for this promotion.

5) Olivia and Angelina (can't remember if this is their names) - When Leon was jailed, Angie was also jailed. However she is quickly released because of her family's rank, but Angie learned from Flatty Princess that the Kingdom will be attacked soon. She tries to talk to Julius and get him to ask the royal family to free Leon. This was cut short because the invasion has already begun on the edges of the Kingdom's territory. As for Olivia, she believes that Leon isn't cruel enough to leave the Kingdom for dead and escape. And because her participation is vital to ending the war, Leon decided to fight in the war so that it can truly end. If Leon did not participate he's leaving it the five idiots to guard her and while they have proven to grow stronger than in the game, they're still not strong enough to hold off attacks directed at whatever ship Olivia is on for an extended amount of time. Let's also not forget the giant F U superboss that is controlled by the enemy nation.

I can understand why leon thought he couldn't change the world rules, Olivia someway broke through Luxon efforts to keep her back and was saved from a target like in the main story, if something so absurd happens you can only think that is because the world itself wants it (Olivia being a real retard running in a battlefield with no weapon, will to fight or way to call Leon and almost becoming a hostage, seriously, I know a heroine in a Otome game is far from smart and that kind of scene is probably normal in them but that was too stupid).
Nice how Leon just called her normally and decided to ignore, her, she had a outburst to a person that just wanted to help, her life was tossed on a shitfan and she is a kid but...what the hell, the hell was she thinking in her room for the last chapters?
Leon instead should understand that he getting Luxon and Marie conquering the harem and making Olivia less than a mob means some things can be changed and that Olivia being protected was a freak coincidence or some stuff is fixed.
Leon getting a second promotion resembled the first one, he gave stuff to nobles and didn't explaing why to them, and was overcompensated, the 2 targets think that the higher the rank the better so they helped how they would like to be treated.
The author is pushing some parts but is still ok, when they make a MC dumb to benefit the plot is a real problem.
