Flashbacks of Mitsuhide and Nobunaga's past. Funny when Hideyoshi turned on the traps. So Date is the reason they know where the armor is. I wonder if she's trying to drive a wedge bewtwwne Mitsuhide and Hideyoshi. Also confirmed that she's Hideyoshi's sensei. Basically a time traveler showed up before her and disappeared leaving the time machine. I wonder what she's trying to do in the past though.

Yes, I guess there's some similarity between Nobunaga and Naga

This episode certainly answered the question of why Masamune was showing up so early in the timeline. I wonder if the reason she's trying to further the wedge between Mitsuhide and Hideyoshi is so that it would be easier to take the latter home.

It was also rather nice seeing how this Mitsuhide joined Nobunaga's quest for conquest. Didn't expect her to actually somewhat hold her own against Nobunaga in a strength competition, though given what history says, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that she could put up a challenge.

But they do a good job at being inaccurate. I only got up to episode 3 before I quit. All female populace is just fanservice and there won't be plot. Senbasa was so terrible it was good, but Sengoku Otome? Yeaaah..... no. It'll disippear into obscurity just like Hyakka Ryouran.

actually, I still remember Hyakka Ryouran pretty well. might be because of the ovas, but it really had a strong female cast.

Really? You should check out Mitsu's and Nobu's outfits a little more thoroughly bro. Beyond that I don't got much to say; it may be 'subtle' but it still plays itself out like any other ecchi.

That's pretty normal stuff for any other anime out there. We're still far, far away from the likes of Hyakka Ryouran (since you mentioned it).

Putting Darth vader, link, yoda, spawn in Soul calibur is also considered fanservice.

Samurai basara is a good overexagerated version of old history. I like it because of the characters tho. specialy kaiji.

but, yeah. that's supposed to be the true meaning of "fanservice" by today's standards.
Of course, by extensive definition anything could be considered as "fanservice". but you have to narrow it down, otherwise you'll end up seeing fanservice pretty much everywhere; and that's not the point.
I guess, it's safe to say the word "fanservice" has replaced the good ol' "ecchi" one in terms of usage (especially in the western fandom). Therefore, we have to act accordingly and label as "fanservice/ecchi" only what it truly deserves it.
'jiggling bewbs' is such a common and widespread trait in anime that it hardly qualifies as "fanservice" anymore. it's almost as if it were "normal" and you should actually be more surprised when there aren't any bouncing boobs in sight.

Have you ever watched a fanservice show? If this one was in a fanservice competition, it would be among last places.

A revealing outfit does not make it a fanservice, Bleach has quiet a lot of revealing outfits yet it is not a fanservice show.

During this whole time I don't remember a single moment of panties shot right in front of the screen and other ecchi stuff like this.

Most of female, anime warriors wear something revealing.
