Starring Geese Howard, Hein, Billy Kane

Billy Kane: Billy is Geese’s right-hand man in The King of Fighters XIV. He first made his debut in Fatal Fury and joined the cast of The King of Fighters in The King of Fighters ‘95. He uses the Bojutsu fighting style and wields a santetsukon, a three-sectional staff. He’s been by Geese’s side ever since Geese helped get him and his sister, Lilly, off of the streets.



Geese Howard: Geese got his start as the boss in Fatal Fury, and has been part of The King of Fighters since The King of Fighters ‘96. His attacks use the Hakkyokuseiken style’s Aikijutsu and Kobujutsu techniques. He is a crime lord and head of the Howard Connection who built himself up after his father abandoned him and his mother as a child. He’s entering this year’s tournament to prove he’s the best and strongest fighter.



Hein: Hein is Geese’s new bodyguard. He uses a unique fighting style known as Gambit, which is inspired by the game of chess. He also has the ability to control a form of dark-red energy, which he uses in some of his attacks.

-Neo G helped a lot for balancing, especially the new characters since he arrived during the dev.

-Neo G input for the game was mainly leading the team and applying his own strict and precise management process.

-KOF XIV story is happening a few years after XIII and some really unexpected events will occurs during the tournament.

-The Mission mode contains a Trial Mode that makes you learn and try out combos!

-There will be arts, movies and soundtracks to unlock in Gallery Mode.

-They said that we don't have to worry about the online. They put a lot of efforts working on it. Oda invites us to try the online on day one.

-Metal Slug 3 on PS4/Vita success leads to Last Blade 2. They chose LB2 because the series wasn't brought back since a long time.

-The Neogeo games released helped to build up SNK and Sony relationship for XIV development.

-Oda himself doesn't own an original copy of Garou (too expensive). So he's glad he can own one with the PS4 version.

-Neo G was working on SF3 3rd strike when he slipped out of work to go to Garou MOTW location test.

-This is where Oda spot him and said "hey it's Neo G from Capcom". And Neo G ended up helping with Garou location test!

-KOFXIV is already gone gold for all territory.

-Story mode will contain the characters special introduction animations.

-Asking if CVS3 is a possibility : Neo G answers that if he has a chance, he'll be glad to do it.

-For the moment no other alternate costumes besides Kyo and Geese. But if the fans keep asking they may add some others.

-They are all discussing with Atlus, Deep Silver and Sony about a KOF world tournament tour.

-About ps3 sticks compatibility : Demo will not be compatible but the final release will have it!!!

-The demo will not have online feature, only local.

I can see why the creators mentioned him as being 'lovable'. Guy looks like he's having fun in that ring, whereas Rugal went full on savage once the jacket came off.
