toward the middle of episode 3, I got this vibe of "Stab girls that knows my Husband"
And since that wouldn't work Ako "threatened" to go to an offline meeting knowing the other girls would attempt to make Hideki go after her. feels like I seen these type of things somewhere else before... something with a bad end... Last edited by chaos_animagic; 2016-04-23 at 01:05. |

Episode 3:
Never knew that Nekohime's real identity wasn't even a burly guy, but rather a beautiful female high school teacher! What a twist there! Meanwhile, glad that Ako-chan didn't murder Saitou-sensei at the end of this episode. Geez, her yandere eyes is so unsettling! |

It does create solid balance with Hideki being almost too focused on the game and real life being different and Ako going right in the opposite direction. Not surprising to that point that Hideki would get very determined to make that line even bolder with what happened in the past. Harder to get hurt like that again if he constantly reminds himself that the game and life are different entities. It's perhaps not a totally good thing, but certainly less of a problem than with Ako. Don't think anyone's life could be ruined by understanding that line too well.
On the other hand...they have a long road to go with Ako. Sure, it wasn't a knife or anything but she could have done real harm smashing someone in the head with that staff. Although I'm not sure that some anger wasn't understandable. After all to avoid trouble Saito did cause Hideki a lot of emotional turmoil. Just turning him down would have been simpler and less damaging than making him think she was a guy. Although not sure how much anger was about her deceiving Hideki and how much was just because she was the person Hideki proposed to in the game .

Oh wow, I spotted a yandere-ish looking Ako from the latest episode. I mean, a bit of jealousy? The dating montage was adorable though.
They are destined for each other! The comedy is decent but that ending is a bit awkward. I hope Ako will be okay...

Another great episode.
Love how accurate this is to the reality of mmo games. That discussion about lockboxes cracked me up. Very close to reality. Really well done research on author's part. Interested on wether Ako will progress in her delusions or get better. Right now she is in bad state enough to literally assault people in real life over game(which happens in actual real life too, creepily enough, just with way more lethal consequences). And now with the new girl in the game (who is totally the pink haired girl from class), gunning after MC, I wonder how Ako will take this. Overall this show continues to balance nicely between incredibly funny comedy and VERY real plot and character developments. |

Akane's friend follows her and catches her going to the netgame club, and finds out about the game. She starts going home immediately while Akane goes to the club. Suddenly Rusian encounters a noob who doesn't even know how to chat. Coincidence? This makes me wonder why she clings to Rusian though. If it is her, she knows who Rusian is, and could probably guess who Ako is. So why is she clinging to a guy who keeps getting railed on for his new "girlfriend"? Is she interested in him personally? Or perhaps could she be under the mistaken impression that Rusian is Piggy's Kermit, and wants to somehow get her attention by throwing a wrench in the relationship? Or she's even dumber than that and thinks Rusian's got a legitimate harem going on and decided to join it. I hope whatever she's doing she's doing it out of a desire for friendship with the others or to get closer to Miss Piggy, not out of an actual romantic interest in Rusian. We're going to need a legitimate romantic rival at some point, I don't think I've seen a show that doesn't have that, but it feels a little soon.

Not if you are an experienced gamer.
Anyway, Rusian and Ako traveled by airship to Byalan Dungeon Level 5, got shot up a whale (Moscovia), and even traveled to August Einbroch! (Actually, this is a real airship route, except for Byalan, which is accessible only by ship.) Meanwhile, GACHAS and GUILD FUCKING DRAMA! Seriously though, those things are probably my most hated stuff in-game. Especially when a girl (a real girl) causes the collapse of an entire guild by making a love triangle with guild members. Gachas I couldn't care less, but I did experience times where I use Gachas for the cute hats up for grabs. EDIT: Sette is Italian for seven, which is "Nana" in Japanese.

Kuroageha: Can't give examples of my own experiences since the guilds I joined are usually fine. (One guild broke up naturally as the game enters its last days, and the other, made out of IRL friends, lost active members when they started quitting.)
I'll just post a whole "guild drama" thread from WOW's forums. The very first post is gonna be an appropriate example of how girls can ruin guilds. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/18300189810 Oh, apparently, there's also a joke that people might have missed. Nekohime was commented as "really being a hime". Apparently, the word hime is part of two gaming slang terms. Hime play happens when a player makes a female character and maximizes the cuteness factor of that character in order to get male players to help it or give it items. A hime is also used to call a female character surrounded by male characters who idolize the former.

Heh, I'm so thankful I only joined one Guild and stuck to it in my Net game.
Ako seems to be getting worse, if only by her own refusal to move away from delusion, course being a gamer I can sort of understand her. Nanako joins the fray, yay! (let's face it its pretty obvious, her and Nekohime.) |
