Yep, this is getting better and better. I'm glad you put in my reference to the incident where Lelouch made everyone dress up as Zero.
Have you tried finding a colourist to make some of your works full-colour? Some of the very best Code Geass doujinshi are full-colour, and done right it could really work. Here's one of the best I know: http://www.nattoli.net/entry/9/noise...90%E6%9C%88%29 |

At least with Manga you don't have to redraw a complicated design 12 times a second, or have to spend lots of budget changing camera angles in an animated action scene. Looks better, although the "20% zoom" might make more sense if it were scene through the camera of a Knightmare Frame or even the security cameras of the Damocles.

So, how did the customers who bought your doujin at the convention like it? Were you able to sell them at 50 Euros each? Find anyone willing to use photoshop to colour in your stuff so it's like watching the anime again?
Quality like yours deserves to be more well-known. |

Then I can't imagine what legal exceptions there are that allow the enormous doujinshi market in Japan to flourish.
If someone fluent in Japanese helped translate your works into Japanese as well as colourizing them, I wonder how popular you'd end up being. Doujin artists in Japan can end up being pretty famous and profitable in their own right. |

The doujin merchandise is very particoular in Japan too.
Doujinshi selling is permitted, but just inside a special convention made on purpose for that kind of manga, the Comiket. Otherwise the doujinshi are illegal in japan too, because always a copyright plagiarism. Then, after the comiket you can find doujinshi just in the web in place like ebay or yahoo (if you want buy them). About the rest, the japanese people think they're the only deserving to draw manga, becuase they created the manga. |
