Info on that character is hard to find for me, because it's something that don't see often in conventions.

First of all, your suggestion to use Imagebam as my new image host is much apprecciated. I find it easier to use than Imageshack. It's because when I upload a batch of pics on the shack, the shack jumbles them in random order. On Imagebam, the pics are uploaded in order - easier for to know which ones were taken first.

Looks like you found cosplays of characters from a game you don't like and an anime that you don't like. Glad you still liked the cosplays. XD

Glad you liked them. Oh, I agree.. she does look a bit like Rin.

About the mini-gun. Grace created that mini gun props herself. Told me that it took her about a week to finish it.

There's a strangely charming composition to this shot; really accentuates the catchlights and gets decently good blurring on the colourful doughnuts. Think I just like the sharp eye colour and the other cute colours that meld it all together.

Same. The closest thing to an international event is the much smaller Animax Carnival Philippines Leg, which is easily dwarfed by any of the major anime-themed cons in SM Megamall.

I agree, PH has quite a number of great spots for cosplay backgrounds. The problem is with security though......the worst being kidnappers who literally target the cosplayers.

I kind of miss AFA MY.

Where did you read / hear about kidnappers? O_o

I've been more than 6 years in conventions and haven't heard of a single kidnap incident. Secutiry is tight, espescially in Mall of Asia.

I thought kidnapping is one of the major crimes in PH. Or is it just southern PH? A dive company cancelled my friend's dive trip to PH in the wake of the recent kidnap. Looks like my booking may be on the chopping board too.

Ah, that is if you go to some places in the province.
Conventions are at malls here in the city, far from muslim rebel infested areas.

And besides, the ones who are the prime target for kidnappers are rich Chinese businessmen and other similar people. Not middle class con goers. XD

Ok, to keep on topic to the thread. Would like to take this chance to say that.. I have another batch of pics (me and some friends attended Tagcom 2014 a few days ago). Will post the pics here on my next day off.
