And indeed, Lelouch's most likely pairing right now is with no one. Lelouch has about as much chance at a "happy ending" as Battlestar Galactica does.

I'm pretty certain that Code Geass demands a very different kind of ending since it's a very different kind of show, and you should probably check out some of his other shows as well to see that's not the only possibility.

Having said that, I'm still quite anxious about the upcoming episode, but I tend to trust that the ending will be good for Lelouch, whatever happens before then.

Okouchi basically said for fans to trust the writers with Lelouch's story, that "there are ways to kill him, yet still make it a good ending for him", and that everyone in the production staff are fans of Lelouch too.

I always try to keep that in mind, but it's hard with the way things are going for Lulu. They do make it look like he'll get a pretty depressing end. But thanks for bringing this up again, I needed the reminder...

Judging by lelouchs awesomeness this season it makes you think that they got the subtitle for the show totally wrong. Instead of "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" it should've been christened "Code Geass R2 Lelouchs CMOA".

Thats right, this entire season has been almost one long crowning moment of awesome for him. Just when you think he's down and out he comes back with all his might

For me at least, there will be a before and after code geass. The two seasons were awesome (I don't have any doubts that the last four remaining episodes will be at least as awesome).

Lelouch 's character is great, really. Such a wonderfull guy. Not perfect, who can make big mistakes at times, but still, unforgettable.

His story was only made of awesome.

Taniguchi and Okouchi really created something great. They can be proud of that.

(and listening to R2 ost doesn't help to not be already nostalgic)

2)geassing a samll army into being his slaves (thats the word he used)
3)turning his brotehr and sisters to maids
4)killing off all loyalist forces (might not be so bad, since they are his enemies)
5)planing to take over the world
6)using the banner of peace to get the UFN leaders into a trap
7)ignoring his friends and treating the girl who loves him like a complete stranger even after she kisses him
8)springing said trap and possibly (we dont know what he did) geassing kaguya

this ep doesnt show lulu in a favorable light

He is trying to change it the hard way.... or is it the only way?...

Dude that sounds similar to Naruto's Itachi Uchiha character, they portray him at first as a traitor or villan but later down in the manga he's the good guy let see what itachi did

1) Killed his Parents
2) Killed his best friend
3) Tortured his little brother
4) Killed a majority of the Uchiha Clan Members
5) Came back to the Village to try and catch Naruto (false pretense)
6) Mindfucked Kakashi Sensei into serious injury
7) Became a traitor to his clan and public enemy #1 in Konoha
8) Joined Akatsuki and worked with the Notorious Madara Uchiha
9) Went after Naruto again (false pretense again)

Painting Itachi as a villian not knowing what his true intentions are, the same could be said 4 lelouch, he acted like a real S.O.B to keep them outta the way and probably screwed with the UFN to draw out Schniezel plans, if he really did agree with the UFN policies and plans Schniezel would have no reason the use Sword of Damocles since by Lelouch submitting Britiannia to the UFN paints lelouch as a good guy.

That's just my opinion but we'll see, man this series is an epic mindfuck.

If Lelouch was truly a heartless bastard, then he should have seduced (or if possible, Geassed) Kallen to his side. After all, she and Gurren would make a big difference. But I guess we gotta see the top two mecha fight after all... *sigh*

Also rather ironic that just after Lelouch says that to control the world you need to be prepared to destroy, we find that Schniezel has nuked the Britannian capital.

I wonder if Lelouch will Geass himself again. After all, he kinda goes to pieces when it comes to Nunnully.
