It likely won't be officially declared as coming back until she's done at least one chapter, possibly more (depending on how long it takes her, they may want her to get a small stockpile going so that she doesn't have to rush).

That said, this is great news. Curious whether she'll do some a time skip as a sort of "meta" thing. Like, since she was on hiatus for so long, have the story skip ahead a bit and flesh out what happened in between as it goes. Mystery-drama style, in a sense.

I still remember the story.. But seeing the Earl in human form in front of Allen was kind of shocking.. the only thing is what going to happen next is the problem..

It been on that cliff hanging for so long ..

What's more confusing in the last chapters to me is the look of the characters. Neah looks like Mana who looks like the Earl in human for who looks like Mana who looks like Allen who looks like the 14th.

Who the heck is who, dammit ?!

That's the thing: they are all related. To distinguish them, you probably have to read the conversation in detail to determine the personality of the speaker, and from there tell who is talking.

Well, the most disturbing part was actually in the last chapter... In the flashback, the Earl is talking to Mana right after killing his mother. But that Mana looks a loooot like Neah/The 14th.

And though I know they're brothers, please Hoshino don't give them the same hairstyle !!!!

I vaguely remember what was going on, mainly because the Viz English adaptation relatively recently caught up with the Japanese version since the hiatus/cancellation was so long. It was something pretty convoluted and the heroes' chances seemed to be decreasing with each chapter. Johnny's been through a lot too.

It would be nice if it concluded, but after so long, not sure what kind of conclusion would be possible.

She's just taking her time and writing new stuff. And like someone said it'd make sense to pile up and get ahead of schedule, plan out future arcs, character designs etc. I'm sure it'll come back pretty soon.

I actually like that new allen she drew better than what he's looked like the past several years. Looks more like old self.
