If worst comes to worst, you can save it, resize, then delete the original.
EDIT: Beat me to it

She used the headset in Force when she was testing the Strike Cannon, and in the newest chapter too.

2. since the Nanohaverse is heavy on the magic stuff, it might be more secure to talk over by radio then magic. Less chance of someone taping in.

Not to mention, I get that "radio" communication (or whatever it is they are using) is easier to use, and a good habit to get into. Just speak to broadcast to everyone on the channel, rather than use magic to deliberately connect to people, some of whom may be out of telepathy range. Also allows you to save magic for attack and defense stuff that may be needed.
But I don't recall seeing a mic on Nanoha in StrikerS ep1; I kinda assumed it to be a more hi-tech communicator, perhaps a smaller self-contained unit in the ear, or handled by a device like RH. |

Nanoha franchise is cementing it's way into "sci-fi" territory so is not surprising seeing the character being more "teched". not matter how much they insist i can't find the Strike Cannon "appealing" enough to appear on those cute images of Nanoha, Raising Heart is still a better option for those kind of pics xDU. the Volley image is just fine i guess(it hurts still).

Not senseless actually. Mages in Nanoha has always made the point that telepathy is used mostly for private conversation. When Lindy Harlaown contacts Chrono and Nanoha in the first season, what did she use? A holographic videoconference screen, not telepathy. And many times in A's and StrikerS many of the character communicate via non-telepathic means in combat and out of it. And then there's consideration that not everyone can use telepathy, like non-mages, and thus there is a good need for non-telepathic communication. Telepathy is only one means of communicating in Nanoha, but it isn't the primary or the only method of doing so.

Telepathy appeared primary in the first season and A's, but that is likely because most of those seasons were spent on this little backwater planet in the middle of nowhere, where the only other advanced means of communication was on board the Asura, or in the command-post they set up in Lindy's apartment. Shifting the view to Midchilda in season three and on gave them access to HQ's supplies, giving them better gear so they didn't have to just make do with what they could come up with on their own.
