I will bring this thread up a bit. December is busy month for me after all...
Just want to say that this show is the first for me where the gap between audience groups has been so clear for me. Pretty much like how Kirino and Kuroneko striking at each other due to their anime tastes... For example, I actually found Kirino's interaction with her eroge interesting. In fact it's hilarious, and the way Kirino show her lustful side in such situation is definitely cute/ moe. It's good to see that despite faking our her role most of the time, she there had moments where she definitely was happy that she was born. Some of us found the event disturbed through and i don' think it's something to be surprised about. After all the way the author tried to hint at Kyousuke x Kirino in past episodes probably disturbed me as much. But then people have been cheered on it like it's the greatest thing since internet; which make me wondering if the majority of us audiences here expected this incest relationship right after reading the tittle . And i'm not even against incest either (except this case), so it must be one of the fetish that i will never understand (like the fetish of seeing a 100%tsun girl falling for a taboo relationship?)

You know, for all the unladylike stuff she was doing when playing the game, and for all the violence directed at her brother, she was surprisingly ladylike in other ways. For instance, she put her cookied on a plate before taking them upstairs to eat. I, in her place, would simply have taken the whole packet with me upstairs.

I am surprised to find Kuroneko's family is much poorer than I expected.
This is one of reasons why she always wear the same gothic clothes. By the way, Kirino behave so weirdly when she is playing eroges. I think there is actually few men like her. I fully enjoyed watching the dairy life of these two characters.

This is the episode (for me) where we discover that Kuroneko is, in actuality, a good girl from a working class family who loves her sister, helps with the cooking, and tailors her own stuff. Her "dark angel" personae helps her cope. We've found that Saori is the real "corporate shogunate princess"... and that Kirino is just as drooling-fangrrl as we thought with eroge games.
And, of course, the parallels between the game tsundere and Kirino's real behavior are laid on with a war mace of irony. (rewatching this and the Zakuro series as I'm having trouble staying focused on this season)
