Watching ep3, this whole experimenting with extreme power reminds me a lot of Death Note.
Both the protagonist being sinister, calculative, and genius helps a lot too. He just doesn't have the advantage of having an invisible friend that can tell him the rules

Wow I was REALLY impressed with this episode. Way to go
Spoiler:
Definitely best show this season. I just couldn't wait for it to come out fast enough every week, lol. I got a question though, how can Lelouch use his power when he has his mask on? Will he have to expose himself everytime he uses it? |

Spoiler:
By legends I assume you mean Legends from the 80s...in which I don't believe Koyasu Takehito's part of. Koyasu is Midorikawa Hikaru's contemporary, and they're both still very active, along with many others from their time. But I see what you mean. What was the last role Furuya Tohru played? That hentai alien from Ultimate Girls? Inoue Kikuko's still active. Speaking of Furuya Tohru makes me sad for Suzuoki Hirotaka again |

You know the way these mechs operate it, the little round button on the controls have to be some type of mouse trackball function. I have seen people press than button, spin it, use it to fire, target, fire boosters....
And how come when his eye lights up and he uses it a second time on somebody they don't notice anything strange like when he used it on those special soldiers the first time? Anyway the show is great as it is. Spoiler:

WTF's wrong with Lelouch's hair? Is it a side-effect of the Geass power?

Yeah, maybe, but I doubt they'd make such a blatant mistake - I already saw the pink-hair CC scan but I wonder if there isn't something behind. With the power of Geass in play and the fact that C.C. and Lelouch have unusual abilities, everything is possible. Especially since there's that mysterious civilization in the background.
BTW, could someone translate the 'love targets' names on either side of Lelouch and Suzaku? It'd be nice to know who they're pining for... --> http://i77.imagethrust.com/images/1J...ss-258154.html Same thing for the previous pic - with possible future eps info between spoiler tags, of course.

Seems like it's getting pretty interesting. No lack of the few side-elements in a mecha anime (slight bit of humor and fanservice), and exploring the powers of Lulu was a nice touch. It certainly doesn't make him all that godly, at least not like some characters I won't bother to name. It interests me to think how things might develop between Karen and Lulu.
One thing I noticed... Spoiler:
That being said, I was quite impressed they just killed him off like that. O_o C.C's still quite the mystery, though... |

I believe the "Love Target" isn't about their love targets, but a love target for fangirls. There aren't any names of characters next to the sign. They just have things like "The face of a 17 year old" and "A fighting specialist" and so on, describing the characters themselves.
