Already discussed in last page. You don't need to worry, even the Side Story one has sub, and look at how bad it is, I'm pretty certain this one will have someone subbing it.

If only the company which made the Doujin anime is as awesome as Type-Moon...
(Type-Moon is a company and a Doujin style at the same time)

Watched teh animu, it was okay, not the greatest thing; however, it would be hard to do worse than Side Story (leeeens flaaaare!!!):

Character design: While they are somewhat close to ZUN's, it is nothing praiseworthy.

Backgrounds: OMFG GORGEOUS!!!

Animation: Average, when compared to the professional productions. That's quite a good job for a doujin circle.

Characterization: It needs improvements. However, this perception may be warped by my exposure to doujins that all have different interpretations of the characters. I'd have personally pictured Remilia a little more evil, Aya was very cheerful, leaving me wondering how much sugar and Red Bull she have consumed in the morning.

Music: I would have liked it to be a little more present.

Voice Acting: They did okay, with the script they were given.

Story: This is only the beginning, it is way too early to judge. Cue ONE YEAR wait until the next episode, should it be confirmed.

Overall: C+ in regard of the technical aspect. B for the effort.
This is not bad. If you wanted your fix of Touhou girls being moé, you have it. If you expected something like Tohonifun's doujin, that's not the work to watch.

The English subs provided on the DVD were very good, especially for a work like this.

The episode was alright and funny and Suika sounded so cute in this one. <3

Artwork in the anime needs more consistency. At some points, the characters look pretty good, at others, they look rather deformed. Not nearly as bad as I was expecting, and I'm actually looking forward to the next episode (Yukari is a big enough draw). Voice acting is surprisingly fitting, except for maybe Sakuya (wasn't expecting such a feminine voice). Thumbs up so far on the casting. Also thumbs up for getting a native english speaker to edit the subs (KirbyM of walfas.org fame).
