camera angle, party restriction (fusion, 2 seraph+2human) unplayable seraph because only have 1 element/seraph, very dumb A.I. wasting life bottle the only thing keeping me from quitting is very easy mode so i can just speedrun the game. difficulty reward is also silly and nonexistent, Tales usually reward playing higher difficulty, but in zesty is the exact opposite

^again, i said the gameplay was far from perfect. for me, the combat system was somewhat addicting, managing an entire team through the course of a battle. of course, there were major issues as you said, but for some, the battle system was the only thing that kept them playing. I've only played ToZ so i can't compare it to the previous tales games.

In actual Berseria news, the game released. Early impressions I'm reading are pretty positive.
Couple of things to note:
Spoiler for Returning character:
Spoiler for Speculation on another Zestiria connection:
Spoiler for Laphicet/party Shota's identity:
Spoiler for Finale/End of Game and Epilogue spoiler:

well, i hope these recurring characters only there for brief cameo and not anything major, gotta stay away from zesty's bad vibe you know
------ another info, difficulty system is exactly the same as zesty, lower EXP rate at higher difficulty, which sucks, a lot, and a very cheap way of "challenging player" by making us way weaker instead of actually making enemy more difficult. the only difference between very hard and very easy would be damage and grind time...

yeah, I wish they had done something similar to Graces where the higher the difficulty the more bonus points you get, that way it encourages players to push the difficulty. I remember only playing Graces in Hard mode and above just to get more points for titles

Battle system is different from ToZ, as the artes are not fixed and can be customised the way you want. Basically the facebutton.. i just notice it is kind of hard to explain. I'll try to do it after work, maybe with some screenshot from the demo, unless my copy arrives... |

Iīm 75% done with Tales of Zestiria right now and canīt wait to put my claws on Berseria but could someone explain to me why this darkest of all Tales games to date? I know this is a revenge story and hardly a happy subject but Iīd love some examples, I donīt mind spoilers.

I'm just few hours in, but so far ToB has too many comedic moments to be called a dark. And I'm talking about happy comedy, no dark comedy. |
