Kyon's also done a lot of time traveling. He's neither slider, nor time traveler, as while he fits the translated names, he doesn't fit the original terms.

Kyon's a 100% ordinary high school student. Although, if you want to be really technical, you could make a case that he's a time traveler (has traveled in time), a slider (entered closed space, a different dimension). But, he's ordinary.

But having that "mistake" in the middle of a discussion on contradictions, nobody knows if it's a deliberate strategy or a coincidental one.
