the torsos are different but the general design of the limbs is very similar.
they did recyle far less pieces than i thought though^^ so yeah, looks like they are more different from each other than i thought :P the overall design is similar but then again, most MGs have similar frames as well. while unique they do share certain features and design aspects. also, my MG blitz just arrived in germany about an hour ago^^ so depending on how quickly it gets through customs i will probably have it around wednesday. but maybe im super lucky and it gets through customs today and i will have it tomorrow! but thats doubtful. i just hope the DHL express guy arrives before i go to work if it arrives on tuesday... usually they are here around 7am though, so shortly before i leave. as for paints, i decided to ditch the chrome spray paint. its too bright and it sprays on in really thick layers, i dont think thats what i want for the frame. instead i will just mix black and silver enamel paint. that way i can make it as dark or bright as i want it to be and since i spray it on with my airbrush the layers will be very fine. im really excited now, the blitz has always been one of my favorite desings^^ |

holy balls, i totally just saved my MG strike freedom O_O the action base connector in the crotch broke (probably due to the massive weight of the backpack) and it was about to fall down from the very top of my shelf! XD
so, id say make sure to check on your models with heavy backpacks every now and then. i had my strike freedom for about 2 years now and the connector broke. also, because of this i can totally see why people who own the PG strike freedom had problems with the wings breaking off. |

I display most of my gunpla in hangar mode (i.e. standing) and rotates a few on aerial action poses.

now i took my RX-78-2 2.0 from its base and put the strike freedom on one of those default connectors for older models that come with the base. not ideal but it works rather well. seems to be solid enough. the problem is that the strike freedom simply needs a base because of the heavy backpack... |

yeah^^ im done already :P i just added a last layer of topcoat. ill take a photo once that dried but that is gonna take some time. so i will probably post them tomorrow. its a great model but not as great as the duel. it does have a few tiny problems, there are mainly a couple of pieces falling off and the lancer darts are really lose. |
