Count me in on that, they spent almost 10 minutes on Altair, I thought it was going to be a Vega-less ep

Its normal; Aquarion's strongest points are when its being silly and light hearted.

Zessica having a vision of Apollon and Sylvie is reminiscent of Reika being Scorpius in the OVA.

In Aquarion visions of one's past life is indicative of memories surfacing.

Oh I've finally noticed. Izumo has the Book of Genesis Altair edition. It doesn't look like the old book in Aquarion.

Going by Andy's misadventure there is a book called Book of the Twin Stars that is searched for a long time. Likely it is the Book of Genesis Rena always carries.

Just marathoned the 11 episodes...

As I never watched Aquarion, I was a bit lost at first.
But the characters are so much enjoyable !!

How is it compared to the first serie ?

Some said that Mikage's talking about a flaxen-haired, golden-eyed dude when seemingly alluding to Amata, was refering to Amata's dad.

Which makes me think Amata and Kagura could have the same father.

Hence Amata's feeling some sort of connection to Kagura in episode 6.

is it just me or reincarnation part is extremely stupid. I really hate it...and I hope that Amata isn't reincarnation of Apollon or whatever, and he will win over Kagura.

...Okay totally reasonable, and might even be the spark of change that separate this shows from being another repeat of the original series (and OVA which I didn't watch).
