Doubt it, the differences are minuscule, it's mostly pacing and events that are changed but overall story is pretty similar. Not like Death March you can barely notice they're the same story.

I just binged read the last translated chapters, and this line when Root was speaking to Sophia caught my eyes which I totally forgot when I read the raws before.
「...When you became a woman, when you experienced heartbreak, I know everything.」(Root)

What does "became a woman" mean? What was she before that?
And that heartbreak so it means there was already a plan to relate Jin and Sophia. hmm.

I disagree with Breimn. Not saying that that can't be the right answer, just not the one I feel is correct. Personally, I thought that, as one of Root's "creations", Sophia probably wasn't originally Hyuman, maybe not even a living being. As such, when she become Hyuman, she could have literally became a woman.

Yeah, this is more interesting. adds more depth to Sofia's character since it shows same characteristics as roots. Besides

vol9 of LN covers makoto and sophia fight which seems to be equivalent of end of VOL3 of of WN. so around 1 volume of WN equals 3 volumes of LN.
The WN raw is currently midway of VOL5 in alphapolis. so I guess it would take around vol14 of LN before it can catch up to the WN raws.

Sex =/= Love most of the time, especially in Japan, so if they were fuck buddies and one thought it was more than the other then I can see how he would think he hurt her the most.

Vol 9 covers the first half of the kingdom raid and ends ends somewhere around the point where Makoto and Sofia start fighting. Vol 10 should finish up arc 3 of WN and then arc 4 will take atleast....5 vol? The last 3 arcs have taken 3 volumes each and they are way shorter. So in short expect to catch up to WN around vol....17...

Not all is gloom and doom though, the author has been known to go on hiatuses while writing the next vol (for months) and then do multiple releases when the new volume is released. So just keep your fingers crossed that in a month or two the new volume will be released and the WN will start again.
