Umm, I have a question regarding the AGTH. I have been trying to work it out for an hour now but I still cannot hook any text from the game. I'm quite sure to have followed all the instruction like creating shortcut and stuff. The only thing I got is this....=::=::Y
Could somebody please teach me how to use this program?

click on the tab. instead of the usual "0x100030B7:00000000 WideCharToMultiByte" choose instead : "**********:00FFFFFF TextOutA" there are several "TextOutA", so choose one until you see it show the current text onscreen.

after the 7th chapter, the "shrine scene", you should get these 2 screens, announcing you are in Matsuribayashi-hen : after this, there is a "chapter like" break, with the usual "otherworld" theme, and you got the kakera musubi.

.....As I watched the current arc in the Kai anime series of Higurashi, Out of curiosity combined with strong urge me to want to know more about what happens next, I decided to reinstall it's game that I put away due to WAAAY too much reading for my taste at the time and see how it's arc ended.
I am totally not going to say what happens but.....how it all ended along with the final BGM during the "last stand", and the final words that were spoken, wow spine-tingling intense stuff, it's a shame my Japanese isn't good enough to read it all without having to beat my brain up over how to translate certain dialogue but at least I understood the critical lines: Spoiler for the final words DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED:
I just had to let this out. With this now I definitely can't wait see all of the minagoroshi arc in it's animated form and I hope that the anime will be able to portray the scene that impressed me so much as well as the game did.

1. There are torrents for the Japanese ones, but it'll take a bit of digging to find them. The games themselves aren't available outside of Japan
2. Daybreak and it's expansion Daybreak Kai are the only ones I know of (not counting the series itself) 3. Onikakushi-hen Watanagashi-hen Tatarigoroshi-hen Himatsubushi-hen Meakashi-hen Tsumihoroboshi-hen Meakashi-hen Matsuribayashi-hen |

Yes the games are available outside of Japan, but you have to buy them from an import site.. However, they're not available in English save, soon to be four chapters of Onikakushi-hen and seven of Minagoroshi-hen.
Head to a site like paletweb or Himeyashop to buy them. |

Not sure why that conversation would takes place, since the mastermind can just hide behind the scenes and have the minions do everything without ever revealing his/her/its identity. Maybe it's time I dig out the game too.... |

Man, I'd heard about that scene, but seeing and hearing it for myself is certainly something else. The shear depravity of that scene is mind blowing and I can't wait to see it animated.
Oh and it goes without saying, but for the love of god do not watch the clips as they contain spoilers of massive proportions. |

Hey thanks for the links all. I appreciate it.
Spoiler for don't read if you haven't watched the above videos:
Quick question for those who have played Matsuri, how is the music compared to the original, especially in these crucial scenes ? |
