Anyway, the weird thing about this series is it's like a puzzle. The plot is extremely convoluted (as it often happens when time travel is involved) but at the same time extremely logical; every tiny detail has a reason and points to something. Which leads to the somewhat odd consequence that sometimes the plot twists and the reasons things happen are SO well integrated and foreshadowed you get them BEFORE they are revealed, especially if one reads a forum like this and discusses the plot with others. For example the fact that we were looking at a time loop and Miyazawa Kenji was Body!Yuuta, or that the three kids bodyswapped. It's detracting a bit from this series for me because I have basically seen all the big twists coming so while I'm curious about it I wonder whether they'll ever truly shock me out of the blue. It's a bit of a pity because otherwise I like this kind of plots a lot . Maybe I should check out some of Uchikoshi's VN.

Yeah, in Uchikoshi's VN, things could be weird and unusual, but they are always logical and reasonable. It is very interesting to speculate the truth from the foreshadowing and try to reconstruct the "reality" in detail by yourself after game cleared.

Or he could simply tell to others that he's in fact Pine trapped in Chiyoko's body (that is if he correctly remember) let's just say that he's a transgender person. Even if his body can be considered biologically female, his soul proves otherwise. Now I'm seriously waiting whether or not Meika can confirm this based on her claims in episode 6, we'll see when the two will discuss such matter.

Count me as a minority then. Loved Ever17 to bits, and consider the Zero Escape series highly worthy sequels to his usual style of stories. The Luna end is easily as high up there as Tsugumi end. While the idea is similar, it's amazing how the execution of actual stories are so different each time round. I'm having trouble figuring out who the cat is supposed to be at the moment still, or even the inventor.

Dr.=Cat? And Cat preferred to destroy the world (lead the asteroid to strike the earth by hacking the AFSpec to launch missiles to hit the asteroid which will change its orbit) rather than watch the success of W-Plan of Qmay?

Spoiler for Episode 8:

Not many new things happened this episode, it's just a recollection of old foreshadowings with a bit more information to it. As Yuuta begins following Chiranosuke's orders, he looks like he succesfully broke a way to change the future but that's only according to the first rule he wouldn't modify history without the cat's permission. Another thing to learn this episode was the behind-the-scenes whereabouts regarding Qmay Group and W's creation and Muhi was chosen as the ploy for it.

I'm so glad things get so cohesive the whole time around it looks like Yuuta, in his new body, somehow begin familiarizing with the girls while still playing the role of Kenji when things go iffy. The remaining four episodes should explore more about Qmay Group's plans and Uber Labs' origins already, so long as they could lead to buildup towards the epic finale!

In all seriousness, the people that don't get what Punchline's intentional stupidness reminds me of the past on how people complained Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere's complicated plot and Samurai Flamenco's randomness. The thing is, this anime isn't nearly as messy as the latter (I also finally managed to get better understanding behind subtle hints as well, you get the picture), although still pretty close, neverthless I hope it ends so well so I can jump in happy tears!

I also forgot to add some more things to add: they should explain what the magic song had to do with Mika's sad memories and that one scene that show Meika half-naked and with red eyes, probably having to do with possession or something similar.

For some reason I don't get, my mind told me it kinda reminds me of Chaos;Head for a few similar aspects (harem + sci-fi + seemingly random plot devices all over the place I guess?) as well Chu-Bra!! (lingerie as the core element).

Episode 9:

Another thrilling episode. Got some giggles from the first half but the revelation at the end was quite something. Also, it seems like the cat wants part of history to repeat itself so that friends can make their amends.

A fitting title for this week's episode too although I wasn't impressed by that kick.

Next week should be interesting.

Wow, this show has really started moving by a snails pace after the 6th episode. It's like we're getting 2/3 of nothing and 1/3 of new information every episode. Why won't they fill the whole episodes with the staff that actually move the plot? Yeah, I know. Because they have to stretch the remaining stuff to the finale.

Chiyoko pretty much said she would've gone crazy if it weren't for Ishigata, later with Meika. Pine had his new older sister to take care of him.

Spoiler for Episode 9:

From episode 6 and onwards, the story started to get a lot better than it seems. Discussions that may seem boring actually had hints that might tie to a major event that await later on, that's why I find them interesting now that I think about it. The most important things that needs to have a full picture is the involvment of doomsday cult and the tragic truth that occurs behind bodyswapping. The storyline is almost over and the sexual arousment plot device still isn't explained as to how and why, have Uchikoshi do it already and not just because of the whole "a guy gets shy whenever he sees panties and goes Uberfying" deal. Additionally, who is Chiranosuke again?

The level of mystery seen in this anime is unparalleled already. Calling the plot strange seems a bit of an understatement, it actually goes beyond that. It's like I'm trying to resolve a particular puzzle and then tie a few important pieces in the midst of many other lost pieces that follows suit. There's 3 episodes left and I still don't know what the staff is trying to deal with the numerous leftover questions in it, such as to how Lovra's family actually having to do with Qmay, the faxes and whatever else they are doing right now.

i 'm not a science expert but is it not possible to push a 2km asteroid with minimal force without using blast force like they said from nukes due lack of air in the vacuum of space but also straight up impact the asteroid with said nukes who are also powerful projectiles who's impact alone may propel it to another direction or combined with the explosive force of the warhead due to, you know, lack of gravity that stops the asteroid "going off the rail tracks" in a fixed direction? its like Michael Bay's Armageddon movie theory all over again.........
