Indeed, it's absurd how much misfortune this author has been going through these few years...

August 2017, brother has a stroke and becomes a vegetable
August 2018, mother dies
July 2019, brother dies
And now, his father who has dementia went from nursing level 3 to 4, thus making it impossible for the author to continue nursing him by himself, so father was sent to an institution. On top of this, author had been visiting his father every 2 days so he wouldn't forget him, but due to covid-19, he can't do that anymore and at most he can only see him through the window when delivering diapers for his father every week.

Note, father being in an institution now is why author can write again.

well it looks like just continuation to main story but i think may the author have intention to stop after this end then he changed his mind and write more well glad he did cause that end wouldnt be that good at least he could give 10 years time skip

Time skips are fairly uninteresting, if they're only a chapter or two. The "current" afterstory is intriguing exactly because it's in-depth. Though it depends on whether the author in question wants to gradually shift towards a slice of life postscript. Arifureta did that pretty well - the main story ended, and the gradual transition from dark to humour was handled well, so now that we get basically 99% whacky humour with the characters we got used to, it's really good, and I like it a lot.

Also, Darkwolf, sad to say but that kind of trouble doesn't seem the kind that "sorts itself out with time".

And erotora, seriously, since it would've covered only the Yukino humiliation stuff, I wouldn't have wanted to get that done only either. To be fair, we know that was only a long-ass intro. We're not of one mind about it being good or bad (I don't find about half of it that good, though the other half was pretty okay), but the whole novel doesn't even really kickstart until that's over.
