This one was also a volume ender if I'm not mistaken. Two times in a row for Uruka. Without an Uruka arc. Not bad.
Sensei was also really good. Without the confession, she would have easily stolen the show once again.

There is no announcement about the manga ending in Volume 17, although it varies from manga to manga. They can just announce it 5 chapters before the ending. The last releasd volume is Volume 14.

Speaking of announcements, did anything happen with the supposed announcement?

The volume ender is chapter 141. That was primarily an Uruka chapter with her confession at the end. Sensei's hug was incredible but it pales in comparison to the confession. Generally speaking. Even if it was any other girl, their confession would stand out.

But the biggest thing of all is her trend breaking volume cover with Nariyuki. She is the first. And she doesn't have a solo cover.

As for the announcement, nothing other than the voice actress of Uruka said farewell until March 2020. At least, not that I am aware of.

Generally in romance if there is a confession from a girl but the manga is nowhere near an ending then that confession would be treated to spur the other girls to up their game to catch up while somehow the Author will find some way to null said confession from the first girl.

Yeah, Tsutsui skipped to March. We are close to the graduation ceremony. Everything depends on Nariyuki. Hopefully, he thinks through his feelings alone and doesn't go to Fumino for another love counceling. Although they reminiscenced about that when Fumino admitted her feelings, so maybe not.

Spoiler for chapter 142:

-Minor time-skip to graduation trip. Yuiga trying talk Uruka but can't find good timing.
-girls do their things. Mafuyu sing Enka. Nothing meaningful
-Nariyuki finally get to be with Uruka alone, but she goes down with fewer(?) .

So yeah nothing conclusive here, though this minor time-skip take away some opportunities to build twist ending and these events seem to me like too much of effort just to set rejection.

In other hand next two chapters might be only opportunity for Fumino cheat her way to victory (playing good samaritan and stuff). It would be pretty bad writing but it's not something that was never seen before.

I would prefereYosuga no Soratypr of conclusions of this particular situation instead..

@Tenzen12: If your source is the same, it is now confirmed to be the other person. I had doubts because between the two, the other would be more likely to be the one to catch cold because of fatigue.

This, however, reduces the chances of my end girl. I am a bit sad but she will remain one of the best heroines in harem manga for me. I am now ready to accept defeat. (I said the same thing about 5-toubun and "accepting" so take it with a grain of salt =_=).
