If I were to take a guess, it would probably be the ability to take a life. Even though he lost his master and vowed revenge, what is would come down to if Tanaka can defeat Ogata could he take his life. I may be wrong on that speculation.

Very true. We will have to see what the next chapter holds for us. As for Ogata, I am waiting to see what the other two disciples look like. The mangaka tease us with Beserker being one of the unknow three, but I am wanting to know who the guy and girl are.

Awesome. Finally less Ecchi, more action and fighting.
Nice that Kenichi atleast can put up a decent fight with all his techniques from his masters. But he is bound to lose anyways. Also Tanaka no way in hell , has a chance against Ogata who should be near supermaster-level. Tanaka would die if he'd face Ogata. |

I know it won't happen... but I kinda wish Kenichi would beat him rather easily. I'm not saying I want it to be over in a few frames, or whatnot. But just that Kenichi keeps his cool the whole entire time.
On a more serious note, I'm curious to see if Kenichi will barely win or lose. It might make more sense for him to barely lose and then have a master face Tanaka and completely obliterate him. Then it would be like, you might be good, but you have a LONGGGG way to go! Good chapter |

I think Kenichi will be winning this one with ease, perhaps because Tanaka's uncertainty resembles the one he gets when fighting...great chapter btw.

So Tanaka is no master, but close. He is at the upper end of the second tier, before mastery... that´s where Kano Shou should have been also. Still a disciple but the body of a master.
And Kenichi could beat him while still in disciple tier. Therefore he has great foundation (like Ogata said in their first encounter) which Akisame is still polishing and he doesn´t want to let it go to waste (by Kenichi giving too much credit). But I am afraid the Mangaka is trying to prolong the story by mixing in content which do not match with previous one.... never the less great story.
