Cuncator's been working hard on the LogHora Wednesday translations.

It seems as though Half-Alvs have the sole ability to restart "large magic apparatuses" that use an authentication system (presumably to check for Alv blood?). This brings me back to the conversation about whether it would be possible to restart the magic circle underneath Akiba before the ten years are up. We don't know the race of the Kunie clan members, so they may be Half-Alvs, or they may be Humans (or, perhaps, the mysterious race to which Roe2 belongs?).

If Half-Alvs alone have the ability to restart them, perhaps Shiroe could come up with something ...?


Also interesting to note was the fact that even with the Half-Alv's low birth rate (akin to the Alvs, presumably), not all children of Half-Alvs are Half-Alvs, so I'll assume that they're human otherwise.

I think Akiba as free PvP zone is far more intresting. Smart demi-human that can communicate now can trade and andventurers can now express them self without restraint.

Hm? I don't think that's going to happen for a while, from what Mamare said in his third Q&A (something along the lines of "it might be possible in the future, but it won't be the focus just yet"). I'm more concerned over something else.

It's the Genius monsters. In the TRPG's lore, there is one Genius monster, Mizkun, who is scheming to shut off the magic circles powering the barriers surrounding Adventurer Cities. Akiba's now done one for him. If he wanted, he could probably try overrunning the city with monster hordes, especially with most of the battle guilds in a questionable position to put up a strong support: Krusty's gone and D.D.D.'s in slow decline, Isaac's away with his guild at Maihama, and Eins has shifty allegiances/unknown motives.

Of course, there is a large group of battle-ready Adventurers that are not in a large battle guild, but it doesn't change the fact that we don't know how prepared the Genii are for this. If Roe2's words are any warning, their plans have already been set in motion, and from what we've seen in Dragonhowl Mountains, they are capable of working together. If Mizkun allied with Heiglot, who can use wide-area ice magic, it will probably pose a formidable threat towards Akiba.

Dun dun dun, foreshadowing! And Naotsugu and Re Gan bullying Tetora, it's great. She somehow knew about the entire situation with Brigandia (and I was wondering who the "Werecat Swashbuckler that wasn't in a guild" was before I realized that was Nyanta) and Susukino, so she's probably been there for a while.

I actually hadn't expected William and Demikas having a duel (not that we saw it, but it would make for a nice filler episode), and apparently Demikas got his ass handed to him again. If I remember correctly, Silver Sword blockaded Susukino and forced Brigandia to surrender, but I didn't spot it when I was reading the web novel chapter. Perhaps it was added in the published version?

If anything, I think Minami would take advantage of an attack . Estavali pointed out that Byamaru, the sword that the Guard uses, had been purchased by an unknown person with a large sum of money, then it mysteriously ended up in the Guard's hands. It's fully possible that a Minami spy did it on purpose to cause chaos while Shiroe was gone, even if they didn't know about Mizkun.

Anyways this chapter was interesting. Lol @ Demikas being neutered by the Lander wife. I wonder what happened to that other Cleric that was second in Demikas' guild.

Well, by now it says "End," so that's a pretty safe way to tell that it's the end of the chapter. Not sure if it was there when you saw it, though.

With so Many important revelations being revealed in Kanami's Side story i am pretty sure the group will eventually meet up with the rest of the Log Horizon Gang and integrated Kanami's Story to the main plot in Log Horizon, Most Likely as the series come to a close probably around vol 13 - 15

Which is Also why i think that some of the episodes in the second season should also show at least some of Kanam's Group Adventures, Which would make a great addition that would fit together in the main plot eventually. what do u guys think ?
