They're working to finish vol. 5 which they got ahold of recently. While ch 40 is the latest available raw. Thus, you have the gap. I think they already released ch 39 a while back as well while waiting for the aforementioned volume.

I haven't seen/heard the drama CD, but while I did like the cover of volume 5, it's moreso the relational or emotional aspects of yuri which draw me rather than just any display of lesbianism, lol. I.e., somewhat related to what you've been saying about Veronica's blush, it's Veronica's reaction that's caught my attention here, not just the fact that hey, Fran gave Veronica a hicky. Since the volume covers don't really necessarily have any context, any yuri implications in it at the time I saw it actually didn't even cross my mind, but true enough, the combination of it with chapter 34 has me wondering/vaguely hoping if/that we'll get more of this in the future.

Think the Vol 4 cover, but with them facing each other and fingers intertwined for the Drama CD cover. And Veronica's reactions to Fran's comments regarding yuri-linked items, or to sexual innuendo or similar situations is cute, period. Especially given that Fran's pretty much asexual, in most senses, except with regards to the Professor.

I'd say the exception is science, not the professor. She would have made a professor if by now if that was the case.

lol, the end there sure is messed up. No wonder Fran said his inners were in a mess, oh god.

37 is so weird it's funny... though I didn't expect what happened to her in the end. Poor girl. She was really cute in the beginning. And people need to be able distinguish between love and admiration. To go so far is just pitiful.

And oh yeah, not to forget about Veronica being shy about liking Fran in ch 36. "I like..." she just couldn't finish the sentence.

I was looking at past chapters and found something strange. In the extras for volume 3, it doesn't mention the suicide chapter (chapter 21) and instead says something about Veronica. Mistake on the translator's part?

First with Veronica about to confess she liked onee-sama... then Adorea and Veronica fighting over the poor actor. And Veronica in the straitjacket... so cute. As was her 8D face. I do wonder how Adorea keeps her face bandages like that...
