I like certain characters in Freezing but the overall story could use a LOT of tweaking. XD

Whereas for Aflame Inferno, I like the overall story and the characters as well, the focus just seems to jump around a bit too much and I don't see any real relevance to the story other than the character's relationships. Which is still important but...the story must go on.

Honestly, I'm starting to think that perhaps the author is just using manga to vent out all of his ideas.

He's working on at least 5 manga and counting.

The author strikes me as a person with some really neat ideas, but once implemented he tends to be caught in a "ok, that was cool but now what?" writer's block

I have time to kill and if Aflame in so much better than any others Im Dal Young manwha, i will be really happy. ^^

Catched up.
Started very good, becomed boring at half and then became really interesting.
I can't wait to see how it continues.
Just a question: why did it became japanese (with those ridiculous name and place changes ) at chapter 42?

Then why are we getting only japanese scans? If the japs fucked this over, why don't the translators translate from Korean, like they did before?

There is no longer Korean raws, Aflame Inferno is no longer published in Korea, only in Japan - just like Unbalance x2 or Freezing.

Why aren't those manhwa published in Korea anymore? Manhwa can't be manhwa if they're not in Korean.
And I love manhwa's unique appeal. If translated to suit Japanese taste, then we might have to see "moe-dom", "meganekko", "osanajimi-san", "mecha", etc. in it. And mecha in "Zero" really is meaningless.

You're not the only ones who don't like it. I was actually reading this [ie. Aflame Inferno] to learn more about Korean culture since it's set in a modern setting.

It turned out to be more profitable to publish it in Japan and all.

It's not surprising to me that Lim Dalyoung's works are more profitable in Japan. If his writing isn't up to par, at least his art can sell. He does draw some attractive women.

He doesn't draw them, he gets very good artists to.

Reason why he has so many series on the go at once.

And yea if the plot lacks well we do always get the lovley art to look at

Doesn't he usually get the same artist? All of his series have the same artstyle, and only Kurokami/Black God is marginally different.

Off the top of my head, I think he has 3 or 4 different artists working with him.

Freezing and Aflame have the same artist I believe.

Should check on baka-updates but can't really be arsed

Freezing/Aflame/UnbalanceX2/Onihime VS and a few others are drawn by the same guy.

KuroKami's being drawn by the same person who did the series for 'Now' and the precursor story to it: Chun Rhang Yhur Jhun. Sung-Woo Park's the artist for it, I believe. It's too bad that Infinity Studios couldn't last - I was actually buying up their stuff.

Hnn, how would have things turned out if Kang Shichan didn't become Inferno's body, but someone else...say, Shichan's foster mom?

Inferno and Freezing : Kim Kwang Hyun

UxU, Onhime and Re:Birth: Lee Soo Hyun

These two people have similar art styles at a glance but they are different people

Long time ago, I heard the reason that is Korea publisher which published those manhwa is bankrup, and "I'm Die Young" give his manhwa to Japan publisher.

As Key Board said, and if you compare detail the art between Aflame Inferno and UxU, Onihime, you will find out many diffrence style.

Finally, after a long waiting, chapter 50 is out. And Pande evoluted to a dark skin better gay-looking young boy. Don't know if Gehenna can handle this new Pande.

Trouble is, there's no continuation for now. No 7th volume. Is it still being serialized?
