No, IMO, Chrome cartridges are the weakest weapon in Dhuran. Chrome only shoot like a bullet while Silver cartridges spreads out after some times and turn to multi Ice bolts-lookalike. I assume Silver is an ice-elemental attack and Silver is for HUGE size Oufans. Whereas, Chrome are for middle and small size mobs. Maybe there are really Gold, Platinum, Bronze cartridges.. but that we need to watch more Mai-HiME episodes

Basically you take a balloon, not inflated or sth. and when it's rounded out that's a AA cup. Not really that big. What your 11/12 year old little sister would have. Basically fitting for Mikoto's age and attitude. She shouldn't be a fully developed hottie.

By the way, was there some previous Mai-Hime related art (manga, novels, doujinshi drawn on a cocktail napkin etc) or did it come, as it seems, completely out of nowhere? At least to me, this series was a complete, and very pleasant, surprise.

It seems there's a manga Mai-Hime, and there will be a game Mai-Hime the Another, however from what I heard they will be quite different from each other albeit using the same characters and locations and settings... seems the manga is focused on Yuuichi and somewhat a harem story around him

Well, Natsuki did use Silver cartridges against Mikoto in the first ep. (And we say Mai's Child is overkill...)

I get the feeling that Chrome cartridges are like the generic high-velocity bullet. A railgun, possibly. It didn't work against the enemy in ep3 because of redundant internal organs? Or something. So why didn't she use Silver cartridges against them? I have no idea.

If I remember correctly, in a guidebook, Lonely Planet, they wrote that there is/was one vending machine in Tokyo were you could buy vacuum sealed used underwear. Most likely someone heard this and told it to someone else, then when this reached the person in question the rumour had grown to "You can buy underwear at vending machines all over Japan".

Or something like that.

BTW kj1980, I HAVE been in Fukuoka (I stayed at the Hyatt. TV's in the Bathroom and heated toilet seats). I HAVE seen those vending machines with my own 2 eyes. (The Hyatt is on the edge of the red light district) 4 Vending machines on EVERY corner (Usually Soda Pop). The one that got me was the Pepsi machines at the entrance to the Shinto Temple (Right next to the Saki barrels). I was like WTF? Then then 2nd thing I did was BUY a Pepsi..hehe. Oh and the HOT coffee can machines, those were the best.

Of course there are more Porn Vending machines than say Underwear machines but I have seen them.

Well then either I am blind that I fail to recognize these "underwear' vending machines even exist - since I've never seen one like that in my life. OR, Maybe it's the fact that I do not hang around red light districts with high rates of STDs that are probably in that area.

Vending machines that sell cigarettes and drinks, yes. They exist everywhere in Tokyo as well.

Is having a TV in the bathroom or having heated toilets that a big deal? I have those in my apartment - it's nothing new. Most apartments and houses built within the last decade come standard with such conveniences.

What's wrong with vending machines for carbonated drinks existing in a Shinto Temple? I think it's a great idea - especially in the summer when you take a rest underneath the shadows of the temple.

Vending machines that sells porn and underwear - Now that's something that I have not seen yet.

Heh in America Vending machines are NOT that common. And outside of a CHURCH? No way! In breakrooms, buildings, hotels, stores and aparments have them but outside of a place of worship? No way. (Well in an appropriate place such as a rest area or park)

We have Convenience stores (And a TON of them - 1 on ever block practically and some are real close to Churches, 7-11 and Circle K for example). Depending on your state, they sell Cigarettes, Liquor, Soda, Toys, Candy, Gasoline, even Porn and underware (YES UNDERWARE). Hot Coffee in a can isn't one of them though (DARN)

And yes Heated Toilets and TV's in the bathroom ARE a big deal. It's not standard equipment in all American houses. (Though heated toilet seats are nice - Just watch out for the Bidet Button :O )

It's really the frame of mind, when I was in Australia lots drove a station wagon. In America SUV's are the current rulers and station wagons are rare (At least on the west coast)
