... although I'm in no position to say that to anyone, since I did have the urge to climb wall with plungers after watching School Rumble afterall. *cough* To me it's still slightly hard to believe that anyone would do that...

See this is why you watch your kids when they're playing. From the time a child can crawl on it's own, children have one goal, to do things that will cause them physical harm. Now they don't do it intentionally, it's just that they don't know any better. Still little kids are quite good at it. I blame whoever was responsible for watching the children involved.

Probably 100%. Rather than killing them outright, the US seems to have adopted a more long term strategy. I'm not very impressed though. Just continue to pump out pollution to thin the ozone layer and it'll have the same effect over a larger scale. Let me know when they've increased the output by a few orders of magnitude and made a death ray.

Come 2009, on the other hand, and especially after the Beijing Olympics, Asia may start to feel the impact. The economy tends to lag the stock market by half-a-year to nine months, or so my friends tell me. Forget gold. It's too late that now. At a time of crazy commodity prices, cash is king. If you've got sufficient liquidity to spare, now is the time to watch out for bargains in the US stock market. |
